Coffee, Tea, Cappoccino (What are you drinking)

Post by MasterWuuf »

I'm enjoying a blend of Guatemalan and Jamaican coffee.

Coke, cherry coke, milk.

Um, that's about it!

LOL, MW, are you involved in some sort of sociological research? :)

Right now, I'm enjoying a cup of tap water (we have very good tap water here, and I don't drink any mineral waters or anything from plastic bottles, mostly because of environmental reasons).

Generally, I drink:

Morning: a cup of milk (sometimes warm with honey from our forest. lol :) - a guy has beehives in the woodland owned by my family, so he gives us honey... mmmm.... it's excellent! :) )

During day: tap water, a lot of tea, a lot of coffee (maybe I am a coffee addict)

Evening: a few beers or some wine with my friends in a pub or in a wine cellar (I never drink anything stronger than wine!)

Finally playing and immensely enjoying the awesome Thimbleweed Park-a-reno!

- I don`t drink milk. It`s unhealthy. :@#

- I rather don`t drink things like Cola, Mountain Dew etc., because they contains a lot of sugar and are unhealthy. So-called "diet" versions are even worse, because they have some other sweeties instead of the sugar :@#

- I don`t drink vodka or wine, because I have a terrible pain next day! :@#

- But I love beer!!!!!! I can drink a lot of beers in a pub and nothing happens!Up to seven 0.5l beers I don`t have a hangover next day.
At home I don`t drink alcohol alone, so I buy "islamic" beer in a shop (is called like that, because it`s exported to Iran and Saudi Arabia): Bavaria 0,0% (I don`t buy polish "non-alcoholic" beer, because they HAVE some alcohol!) :D

- I like "kvass" or "bread drink" - but it`s mainly russian drink, so I don`t know if it`s avaliable in UK shops..? It tastes just like a dark beer minus the alcohol.

- I rarely drink coffe :D

- I don`t like fruit juices, but vegetable juices with chilli are very good :D

- But most of all, I drink a lot of tea!!! Everyday about three or four 0,5l mugs. It doesn`t have to be strong. Tea, black and green, works anti-cancer (with milk it doesn`t);it`s important for me because I smoke cigarettes. Tea is one of the reasons why Japanese have good health and live long :D

For people outside Poland I recommend kvass (bread acid), if only it`s avaliable in UK.

Coffee: Nescafe Gold, no sugar, splash of milk. Milk before the water of course.

Tea: Brewed lemon ice tea, 4 tea bags makes 2L, 1 tablespoon of sugar per L. Lasts about a week.

Water: Filtered tap water

Juice: Watered down mango, or peach, or other. 1/2 a L juice (not concentrate) makes 2L. Lasts about a week (wife drinks more of this than I do).

Coconut juice/water straight out of the fresh coconut, not often but it doesn't taste half bad.
It's not a bug in the program, I've just gone and done something weird.

I don't drink coffee or anything with alcohol, and I only drink tea when I am sick or invited somewhere. Sometimes, I drink water (but not sparkling water), I mostly drink milk and a lot of Apfelschorle (apple juice mixed with sparkling water). When in a restaurant, I mostly drink some form of soda (especially Spezi, which is Coke mixed with orange soda like Fanta - delicious!). That's about it.

coffee (any kind, lots of milk+sugar, fair-trade if they have it),
beer (STUTTGARTER HOFBRÄU PREMIUM BÜGEL)
cigs and weed.
Little more.

If the cof or the cigs are missing (especially in the morning)
i go berzerk.

I think I am coffee-addicted too. If I can't get one in time all hurts and I get nervous.
In my age I have to assume that the 'all hurts'-state came along with time and is the 'normal' mode - and the coffeine just covers it. Is that panic or possible?

EDIT:
Dumb question - I should ask that in a forum with an average of 60 or so...

Why? Can you actually smell my breath way over there? :P

I had my first cup of 'Mexican' coffee in New York City, back in 1996 or so, after 10 p.m.
I actually had two cups. STRONG! Two-thirds warm milk, but it kept me awake for about five hours.

I like Superior brand French Vanilla Cappuccino.

I just used up my last scoop of Chocolate/Macadamian coffee (Hawaiian blend).

The strongest cup of coffee I even had was also my first... It was made by a Turkish house mate... I didn't know that you were only supposed to sip it, and leave that thick viscous syrup of liquefied coffee grinds at the bottom. At 4 o'clock in the morning I was preparing my napsack to fight demons in the woods, it was that strong it was verging on psychedelic!
The best coffee I ever had was made by an Egyptian friend. It was and art-form just watching her make it. Amazing, words escape me.
I limit myself to one coffee a day in the mornings, as I have a -1 Constitution bonus in DM terms ;)

Great coffee story.
I also had a friend make me some similar
Spoiler
30-weight oil
coffee.
I was fortunate, in that he told me to sip it, and to strain the grounds with my teeth.
It was sweet, so the experience was good.

I've been drinking Costa Rican coffee lately. Not bad. I like the Guatemalan better, at this point.
