Yeah, I've seen this before. It's interesting certainly, but I'd say that it doesn't mean you can ignore good spelling or good grammar!
We have rules to make comprehension easier, and anything that gets in the way slows down that comprehension. You might be able to understand the above gibberish, but I'd wager that your comprehension time is significantly slower than if it were spelled correctly.

yeah, that works in your natural language only. i can barely understand if i actually "think" in english instead of french.

Heh, that thing has come up so often - I've read in more than once place that it's entirely untrue that it was based on a study from Cambridge University, and that the person in charge of language stuff there was somewhat surprised to read it, or something.

I've seen this quite often before, but not in English yet. For me, it also works in English, though not as fluently as in German. Quite amazing.

It's probably related to Beowulf, and not to Beowuuf, in the same way as Bat is not related to Bit.

I've seen that, as low key films go it wasn't too bad actually! I liked Gerard Butler yelling to be fought and getting pelted with stones
And yeah, my name is a combination of Beowulf and Wuuf, a fact I usually completely forget since it was so long ago, and the beowulf connection was completely unrelated to the fact I eventually used the name on a fantasy board!

wouldn't work too well with asian or egyptian characters since they are often pictographic representations of whole or partial words

Actually, I believe the faster you skim it, the better you read it. I've seen this one before, or something very similar.
Me??? I still have a hard time understanding some of the young people when they speak.
I just don't speak or comprehend the mumbo jumbo tribal language.
