Items on Tables

I've cloned a table and given it a new bitmap that is lower in height. Now when an item is placed on the table it appears to be floating in air above the lower height table.

I'd like items placed on the lower height table to be on the table and not floating above it.

Is there a way to change this? or does the engine default to show items only at a particular location?

Any help appreciated.

I think the engine is hard coded to have tables at half height. Not sure if alcoves have a fixed height, and I'm not sure how you would combine the two even if so.

I guess for now re-=adjust your table, and keep the old graphics handy incase I am wrong, or anyone has a clever way to have the lower height in furture

I thought this was the case, but it never hurts to ask.

Of course my lower table isn't really a table at all, so I'll have to try and figure out another way to accomplish the mechanic I was working on

Can't be changed I'm afraid. The position of items on tables is hard-coded.
