I didn't know if they could be mixed with other civilians people so this weekend I drew a Japanese city for our 2 champions Iaido and Wu Tse. It was gratifying to give them a nice home for our heroes.

do you have the Japanese city complete?

The Japanese city is completed all right and positioned on the bottom right of the map. Since I enlarged the size and re positioned some locations, the map look like a broken puzzle :( . I need to rethink how to fix it.
I worked on my novel. I set up the layout and I reached 250 pages :D .

OH, sounds good. the map can be cut and pasted, just where on it?. I think you had it at 2500x2500 so far. one big map. the towns can be easily moved in 3D as well, just a cut and paste. keep at it. I am beginning to see the bigger picture, and when I nap I am thinking of that map and it is beginning to enter my dream world  my last experience I found two silver skull keys where others had looked before and did not find anything. I need to reread the story in hopes i'll start to get the characters involved :D

Actually the map reached 3500x2500 and continue to extend each time I develop an area. I add a rock from DM original graphics but its seems there are a few mountains in background. I don't know which side the drawing was made. Theron's castle will need to be redesign because it's does not look right. Still a lot to do.

Those who translate my novel, should be very short of breath has to follow my silly ideas . Good luck! I bring them through all DM map. At the moment, I try to drill the mystery of the elfs. Rather difficult to blow on the fog which covers these mysterious people. It is not an easy task but when I'm done, it should be more easy to conclude the first part of the story :D.

Are you planning to publish your book when it's done?

That's the plan. If I can get a written arrangement with the creators first will be great.

I have just added in my opinion, the most important character of DM. If he had listened to his heart by trying to find her love Veyla rather than the wise words of its master, none of the champions would have been able to be release and so to have his/her second chance to overcome Chaos and the game would never have taken place.

By looking for images to draw Theron, I found various heads and I completed their bodies.
Why the images between clips arts and Theron Quest's avatar are different?
I do not know which to use.

Hi,
well looking through this, seems over the years the character biographies have been worked on and seems there is a novel well on the way, congrats!

Has there been any work done on a timeline for this land?
All I can think of is:
1- Time of peace before Lord Chaos is spawned.
2- The year of Chaos: 24 champions get stuck in mirrors trying to kill him and evil monsters pop-up throughout the land while Theron sleeps
3- Time of peace again after Lord Chaos taken down...
4- ...but then he 'Strikes Back' - and all the original team are again still stuck in mirrors ( a lifetime curse?) - and a whole new bunch too!
5- Lord Chaos down again. Land back to normal, longer period it seems.
6- Then whatever happened in DM2 - never got into it.
7- Then whatever happened after completing DM2 as well..

Not to mention whatever was in the SNES ports...

###

Chatting to Clodius and Chaos Shaman, seems the 'YEAR OF CHAOS' is the real fun time to write cool stuff: populated fantasy world suddenly breaking down, heroes are summoned etc... But anyone else thought about this more?

Also, what was this kingdom like before Lord Chaos appeared?
Land of peace, land divided by politics or already was a nightmare and all Lord Chaos did was round up all the bad gangs and give them the same uniform.

What did his appearance do?
Was it like 'Lord of the Rings': an apocalypse, Sauron's eye up on yonder hill, cats and dogs living together...
Or maybe it's like 'Hunger Games': Lord Chaos is dining with the Kings and Queens, outsourcing his interior design to the dwarves, and the champions are being sacrificed to the mountain for his pleasure...

I mean if you guys are compiling a story, what's been done to think about the history and world-politics?

Good article to read here:
http://www.giantitp.com/Gaming.html
'The World' bit is interesting.

Anyway, just keen to know what you feel about the world that you have saved several times from evil old Lord-Chaos.

I am confuse :!: I was looking for pictures to rebuilt Theron's quest castle and found out that DM II Skullkeep castle look the same. I have redrawn it in my DM world map. Because I never played these two games, I'm not sure if it's the same location. I may need some explanation.

I was looking for some info around mt. Anaias and found out in the CSB ending video that I had never seen, (Why, because I had never finish it) Chaos used the same mountain twice but 2 different entrances.
I always thought it was 2 separated locations. Now I can make some progress on that map :D .

Until now, I drew 18 champions completely animated: stand still, walking and attack movements. Some of them were very hard to achieve. Now I am back on Daroou’s head that I tried 2 versions but I did not like the results.

Recently I worked also on the skeleton. Something was wrong and kept my attention. Some views were missing. I mean the left side was the same of the right. I completed it and also Grey Lord sides. I put these two in my flickr drawing storage. They are available and it’s up to you if you want to use them in a dungeon.

Each champion needs a lot of work to look good. The world map is directly related with my story. That's why it is not completed.

boyflea: I love the 4 champions on the top and it's very cool to see DM from the top.

I agree one that one Clodius. I guess it is time to animate some of your completed work. We can do it in gif format to get a hint at what it will look like in RTC DM.
It is nice to see you here Clodius.
