I'd be struggling to give any clues for mine, other than it was a fairly standard shooter for ST or Amiga (possibly others... can't remember).
Late 80s. Varying level graphics, and not much in the way of power-ups. I had an ST at the time and quite enjoyed it.

Pff, what is that weird game, Gambit? Come on, you can't expect us to automatically know everything. I mean, what even is that? Some weird grey walls with some kind of reflectionless mirror stuck on? And what kind of name is "Zed", anyway?

Yeah, I agree, it looks awful and hopelessly outdated. Poor low-res graphics, small and largely empty game window, lot of empty space around, interface scattered all over the place. Symbols under the "Zed" sign meaningless and direction arrows illogical. No "Help" icon, no "Tutorial", no nothing. Boooo!
