I have been playing this game for a while now. It is amazing at how little information there is. I have had to fight my way through the hard way. My party is very far along and most attributes are master.

Unfortunately I am about at the end of my rope. I just got past "The bridge is down" fixed and went up a level to find three closed doors. I don't have the key. I have spend hours walking around looking for something I missed. Have thrown items through the door that I could. Zo spell. chopped, fire-balled. just about everything I can think of.

The keys I have are:
The Garnet Key
Jade Key
Solid Key
Lock Picks

I am about to abandon my quest.

If anyone out there knows where I went wrong please let me know.

Consider using CSBuild to examine the situation. What the
doors require. Where to find missing objects. Etc.

It would be a shame to quit after such a long struggle.

I think, TOC is a game I completed, heavily cheating peeping with CSBuild.
Indeeed CSBuild is the way to go.
A nice feature of CSBuild is the display of backward links. It tells what is acting on something.

Ok. I downloaded it. Have no idea how to use it or even run it. More reading.

Put what you downloaded into a folder.
Double-Click on the executable (CSBuild.exe).
Use the 'File' menu to 'Open' your save game.
Use the up -and-down 'arrow'' icons on the left to go up and down levels.
Find the area that is causing you problems.

Then ask some specific questions about how to
proceed. We can help.

There is a bug in TOC 3.3 that can result in a deadlock situation at the briidge. The problem is that there is a water elemental with the required key for the inner Green Tower, and there is a missing monster barrier at 8(29,33). Without the barrier the water elemental goes through the teleporter at 8(30,33) and dies leaving the key at 6(20,11) and thus impossible to reach without a green gem.

Unfortunately, in this instance, the easiest solution is to open your savegame in CSBuild and give yourself a square key.

I can't seem to edit my last post so, I got passed my key issue and, I think I know where you are stuck. The gate with the two arrows and a KU potion is a Strength puzzle. Boost the Strength of one of your Champions to about 90 and throw/shoot an arrow or throw a rock through the gate. Once you hit the pad at the end of the hall with an item, the gate will open and you will be able to move forward.
