i have a question with the solid landing room. if i create a wall in that room and move up it wont Show the wall and i cant get past the pit. also it Shows an open gate on the map at lvl 7 but ist not open.is that a bug?

i solved the pitproblem, but still theres that open gate on the map thats not open.

somehow i solved it, well :-)

Amber Tower was awesome, i loved the wall riddles.

Helga's son is exactly Magnus, turned in a bearman. But don't worry about him for now.
And don't worry about the grate too: it can't be opened from that side.
The pixie village is closely linked to Helga's gratitude in your behaviour.
Pit and door both lead to the prison, but you can use only the fastest way at the time. Once explored, it will be clear how to get past the guard. And, once got past the guard, you'll find a new companion and next meditation circle by exploring carefully the area.

You mentioned a new companion... will I find him while still in the dungeon, or did you mean the one which you get after passing the guard?

Leslie, you can add a new party member after passing the guard. Remaining part of Helga's dungeon is accessible only from

Ok, the problem is the key :D I thought you found it. I's definitely hard to see, anyway it lies on a wooden surface somewhere not too far from the lock :wink:

I was wondering what kind of character Elektra is. Is she a Human? Or an Elf? Maybe a Fairy? Something else? Just curious :)
The same would be interesting for Sasuke from Upside down. For him, it's even harder to find out, since he is wearing a mask...

Elektra and Sasuke are both human. However Elektra has some elven blood on her mother's side, whereas her father is a famous DM champion. His identity will be revealed in a dream.

Adamski, I ran around the forest and I find this dungeon is graphically super impressive man. Well done. plan on playing it all weekend,look forward to it. Again, thanks dude.

Hi

Just an update, i am now on the top of the amber tower with the boss.

The fight is hard due to a unstable ground ....

Just a question, when the boss reset does it recover all his life ?

Chaos-Shaman, thank you for playing. I'm sure you'll be surprized playing each part of UD. After all, one of my purposes was to show something always different and original (I hope I did it :roll:)

Jahmiann, obviously it recovers all his life. If it wasn't so it would be too easy... don't you think?

Hi

yes i finally killed the boss and i am now in the great tree. I don't found another member yet.

I can't find a path in the great tree, the infinit spawn of wood golem block some way.

how deal with that ?

the treant without stepping backward, otherwise he respawns endlessy. It's doable thinking what he's vulnerable to.

Version 1.0 is no longer avaliable due to possible dead ends.

A suggestion to avoid some of them:
Spoiler
in the great tree don't use the amber wall spell to block the doors and pass through.
Soon I will link the 1.1 with some fixes. I'd like to ask the moderators if I have to create a new topic or if they will update this one. Thanks.

Adamski, what we discussed earlier, the

wolf shield
isn't too powerful. It just has faster attack than most of the weapons i've found so far.

With maxed str it has decent attack power.
Also, if you enter the sleepy hollow with both pressurepads activated (like you should) and alarm the monsters, you cant escape through the main entrance. A wall appears to block the way.

One thing about the gameplay: maybe you could regulate somehow the use of

str and dex potions
in future patches.

Should I wait, I was about to start right now, but if there are problems I am not sure I should, should I play it through with v1 or wait for v1.1? I am so excited and now I have to hold my eager self back, it's going to kill me. Hope you reply quickly on this.

About the sleepy hollow, you can't escape once woke the monsters up, 'cause a lot of walls appear. That's clearly a dead end, and the reason is I believed winning that battle was impossible.
All things considered, a player MUSTN'T alarm the monsters until he completes the great tree. In 1.1 version I'll warn the players about that.

Thanks for your advices, they are really important to optimise the game :)

maybe it's better if you wait a little bit. In 1.1 version a will fix some dead ends, graphics and add a couple of extra hints.

(Yes, the fights and/or getting through without being cornered in the swamp and the ogre region are *very* hard.)

entering the tower and on finding the second meditation circle?

(*Seeing* keys, for example, might be a bit of a blind spot for me, as - at least for me - RTC on W10 does not fill the window, but rather draws a large black border around the visual content. And I've already fiddled with the compatibility settings to get this one to write savegames without crashing.)

(And I *aimlessly* guess the skeletons lying around in the swamp and in the small dungeon (did not manage to open the door) next to it might have something to do with the companions?)

The skeletons aren't related to your friends, they are unknown adventurers. You must open all the doors in the Helga's dungeon if you want to

Did you check all the walls?

I use w10 and it works fine for me. I play the game windowed.

You are pratically at the beginning. I suggest you to wait the 1.1 version. I fixed many little issues ad add some hints. If you want you can keep playing the 1.0, it can be finished. However you could do something wrong and run into a dead end (not very likely but possible)

"use your power" is the easiest thing you can do.

Phew... a week after downloading it, I finally managed to play it. Only had a couple of hours though, so didn’t get too far.

Missed the last few posts until now... so since I only just started, I might wait for version 1.1.

One question though...

I got medicine for Magnus, but couldn’t figure out how to give it to him.
Is that something that will happen later, or did I miss something obvious?

i forwared, now i am stuck in sleep allow, i made some "few clean" in the room but let part of creature alive.

Jahmiann, as I said the challenge of the sleepy hollow is not to wake the creatures up. If you do it before completing the tree, you'll get stuck. Therefore in 1.1 version I put a message that warn the player.
