Jahmiann, it's strange: i was sure that after the fight starts a giant mushroom appears to prevent to use the pit... :roll: I'll check, thanks.

Anyway... look for the torso near the pit area (underground)

Sivis is one of the last mission, you got a long way to go. In that dungeon you can't to anything at the moment.

Rather, get the brass key from Trolamport and go to the hall of music.

What pit area are you talking, the only pit area is a portable pit ....

there is a pillar blocking theway. According to the magic map, there is a chamber behind a wall which cannot be walked into, but one can cast into it (Amber wall, Zo, ...), though that does not seem to have an effect. Does this have to do with removing, or how could I remove the pillar(s?)?

jahmiann, I checked the version 1.0 and I saw that, when the battle starts, a giant mushroom appears, blocks the passage and you can't use the pit until the battle ends. I mean the pit that leads to the external area. There is a relay that activates the message

"YOU EAR A NOISY CROAK COMING FROM THE FIELD: KING FROG APPEARS!".
The same relay activates the giant mushroom too and you won't be able to reach the underground any more. So I can't explain how you could go down to the pit :roll: :?:

Anyway, if you did that, you are trapped because the grapple has disappeared. You have to reload.

After killng the boss, you can come back to the enchanded forest. Using the pipe you'll be able to shrink down and visit the boot house whenever you want. Grapple and portable pit will appear in the same place where you found the first time.

sad music. I guess I should reproduce the music from the music box, but I also guess I have bad ears...
Numbering the pads from 0 to 8, 0 being the one at the door and 8 the one on its left, I thought it was:

But nothing seems to happen?

Igor, the pads are 8 so numbering should is from 0 to 7. First 12 notes are enough, but your sequence is wrong.

Yes, 7. Looks like I can't count from 0... What kind of language do I even program in?
Found the right sequence now.

I orginally built my sequence thinking that I had to go up to the highest note (the 16th), which made me start too low and compress everything.

you have to set the correct yellow and blue sphere position in a way that ensures you won't be killed by the lightning

I'm blocked again... In both the mines and the garden.

In the mines: I used one key to open the beasts tunnel, got a crystal, but no other key...? I was expecting it to work like the 2nd level of Dungeon Master. Where is the next key?
In the garden, I've been able to 'cast' and block the unicorn in some corner. What should I do now? I've been able to kill it (actually, Drake killed it) but no horn for me and I don't feel like I should simply kill it. Also, I don't know what the faery wants.

I have played this here and there the past week. I am stuck in the boot. Freaking hard, some of the timing is tough or I need a special item. I used the

barrel for a pressure plate
but man, I am struggling with this part. I also can't leave the boot. I really love the scroll pit thing, beautiful work here. There are a few doors that I can't find a way in. Might have to beg for help with this one. I'll be more specific on my next post, when I have no hair left. :?

Igor, you mustn't kill the unicorn (I fixed this issue in last UD versions).

Just put him to sleep. Mind you he's highly resistant to sleep spell.
The raimbow mines is the hardest part of the game in my opinion.

Enter the control room, use the lever and explore the room called "the magnet".
Maybe you missed the onyx key: a rattletrap (mechanical soldier) drops it when killed.

You need three keys: YA, OH and FUL. Which you can't find?

the sleep spell can stack. That was something I tried, but only with one Mon spell.
For the mines, I'll look later if I can find the magnet room. I found the onyx key and tried using the lever but didn't realize it opened a way.

Igor, there is no difference when you cast the sleep spell with different runes. LO and MON is the same.

Aaach, I should commit myself to playing something turn-based, I seem to be getting all too slow :lol::

Floating Ground soon: The mechanics of this are quite obvious, but for days (and several times) I've tried to cast several amber walls adjacent to another (on that level or in the chamber with the fireball thrower below) or lighten the party's load (maybe improve the party's speed a bit further?), but did not manage to get onto the central platform (not speaking of the switch, which I conjecture, will open something, switch something else off and so on).

Decompositor, just an amberwall. Try to use the interface arrows instead of the keyboard: it seems that the game is more responsive.

i forwarded a few in the cloud castle.

I found a wand behind a wall but i unable to access. I think i need to put a special object in the alcove but don't find what.

I reached the final boss, but the fight is to long and i am out of food. I there a way to kill the boss ? I tried to use his own fireball versus him but i think my party is too weak... Does the wand (spoke above) can change the fight process ?
Maybe the boss has too much health point or should be kill by a master level party ...

to use his own fireballs. I don't remember how many fireballs you need to kill him, but they are 10 more or less.

Finding some time to play again. I'm in the mines. Found 4

Rainbow rocks/crystals. I finished path 1 I think, am blocked in path 2 and can't start path 3 for some reason (maybe I should just finish path 2 first?).
Questions:
- Is there a trick for grate B or should I just be faster than I am? I always arrive like 0.2 seconds late.
- How could I freeze the colors? Is there a place where I could learn how to do that?
- Path 3: 4 green crystals don't seem to do anything. I tried with the color lever down and also up blocked on green...

Freeze the colors means to transform a rock in a crystal. To do that you must use the second mechanism in the magnet. Maybe you miss the vacuum fuse, use it to open the second door in that area.
Path 1, 2 and 3 can be completed in this order.
Grate B: you'll understand later how to enter.

hi adamski

i found some free time to continue my progression. I finished abandoned house story.

now i suppose need to go in the hall of musics, and how can i pass the nature wall ?

- i found a room with 4 alcoves, i guess i need to put an instrument in each alove ?
- i have a violin, a harp, a bell, a music box and an enchanted flute. Can have some glue about where i need to put those instruments ?
For now i have a lot of gold coin and green gem, but to buy inerresting stuff i need blue and red gem. I there a kind of change ?
For exemple 5 gold = 1 green gem, 5 green gem = 1 blue gem, 5 blue gem = 1 red gem ?

Listen to the sound each alcove produces: you'll understand what you need to put in
No problem about money. For example, if an item costs 1 blue gem, you can use 25 gold coins instead
5x5 gold = 1 green
5x5 green = 1 blue
