Working Atari version
Hi Paul, IIRC CSBWin was based on a port from Atari. I was wondering if you played the Atari version under emulation? I tried a couple of versions of emulators and DM/CSB roms from online but didn't get anything working. Did you have a setup that worked?

Re: Working Atari version
Have you tried Atarimania? It's my go-to place for Atari games when I want to play them on my Atari emulator, STEEM, although I haven't tried DM or CSB in it yet (I've been using CSBWin)...

The Atari ST PASTI disk images available here: http://dmweb.free.fr/?q=node/625#toc20
work perfectly fine with the Steem emulator (along with the PASTI DLL).
These are original executables and not cracked versions.

I played with a debugger using STEEM. That was decades ago and
I have no idea how I made it work.

Thanks Christophe, the instructions worked perfectly, I should have known to check the Encyclopaedia first!
I also checked out the Amiga version from there, I 'd forgotten how much atmosphere the monster moving sounds add. And they help in locating monsters, eg thieves.
