is it the scroll that says what combination will unlock etc cause if it is i still cant work it out

hi....i know it has been said that the solution to the levers on lvl 1 is in the scroll....now i know i'm blonde but i just cant work it out...can someone help please

Even after reading the walkthrough i cant do this room. Can someone please tell me how to do this in step by step instructions....would be very grateful...thanks

When I save game it says saved but when I reload it isnt there. Any suggestions?
