Re: Closing an educational gap - Ian Livingstone et al.
Creature of Havoc was brilliant, such a difficult book (mainly because you start off little more than a mindless beast), it was also important from a setting perspective as it introduces the third member of the demonic three, Zharraden Marr (the other two being Zagor the warlock of Firetop Mountain ...

I installed Steem because there was a game I could not find for WinUAE (although I remember it from the ST rather than amiga), and that was Technocop.
VERY gory for its time, but also difficult as hell.

@Giradius - Joe Dever, the writer of Lone Wolf, created another mini-game series where two sets of twin books could be played separately or apart - one set had a confrontation in a dungeon as you describe. The books are also in pdf form now, linked on the project aon site. They weren't connected to ...

One of the things I loved about Dark Corners, was the hotel chase....terrified me, they really captured the panic and terror of that scene in the book, the graphics are very pretty, and the music is superb.

I had a load of FF books when I was at school (and have recollected many since, they occupy an entire shelf) they were one of the things that first got me into RPGs.

Frontier was something I had a go at recently, I remember that on Amiga (and the huge tome of an instruction manual).

Hello folks
Is anybody here a fan of HP Lovecraft and his Cthulhu Mythos?
If so, What are your favourites stories?, characters? What is it you like about them?
I am personally a fan, and have been for some time.
Maybe they appeal to my nihilistic streak, Lovecraft is one of the few horror authors ...

WOW!
I think I have musical sympathies with almost everyone...
Most of what I listen to is industrial, darkwave and Aggrotech (Frontline Assembly, C-drone defect etc), I was quite into Goth music in teens and so i have been known to play the odd Sisters of mercy album.
Still like a lot of metal ...

Happy birthday sir.
I bought you a beer and was going to send it to you but my girlfriend said that pouring it into the disk drive was not a good idea as it could result in severe hardware damage.
So I drank it for you.
many happy returns

I liked it, the multiplayer option is quite good, although the server populations are a little low now.
It does have quite high spec requirements though.

Oh, returning briefly to the topic of vegetarianism.
Another advantage of a vegetarian diet Is that I had veggie burgers for my dinner today, and now my farts smell delicious!
I only wish I could cut and paste one onto this thread to share it with you.

you basically say that they just have more of the same that other animals already have, so it's not a big deal, don't you? The quantity is more, the quality the same?
