Re: Help with Destructable walls.
Thanks! That's awesome. I was about to try using doors when I asked the question, but the pillars do the trick.

Re: Free the dungeon
Thank you. Here's a bed I did. I thought it would look out of place since I used Max, rather than painting it from scratch, but I touched it up in photoshop to make it look more cartoony and it woks better than I thought it would. http://www.benfischer.com/Pad/DungeonBed1.bmp http://www.benfischer.c...

Help with Destructable walls.
Forgive me if this has been answered somewhere in the forums: Couldn't find an example, or a clear answer.
How do I make a destructable wall?
User will find a pick axe, and can use it to tunnel through some cave portions of the level.
TIA

Re: Free the dungeon
I'm trying to organize the art I submit for open source use to this board. In this vein, I've created a page all art I create will be linked on. Here's a few new items I've added. http://www.benfischer.com/Pad/DungeonFloor_Falchion.bmp http://www.benfischer.com/Pad/DungeonFloorBrokenSword%20copy.bmp...

Re: Free the dungeon
Oops, Forgot meat in hand. Also, I set up the moldy bread in the editor to fill up a player but detract HP. Good for starving situations, where the player has time to heal. I'll prolly do a wormy apple soon too. The New characters are my daughter and step son. http://www.benfischer.com/Pad/PurpleMea...

Re: Free the dungeon
I have been playing around with some levels in the editor, and made a few new graphics. Anyone's free to use them. The Beetle shell shield is meant to be a dropped item from the beetle graphic I found in one of the monster graphic sets. http://www.benfischer.com/Pad/Aiden.bmp http://www.benfischer.c...

Re: Free the dungeon
A few of the problems you run into if you were to use photographs, is that the undead tend to freak out by the flash on cameras, and the inter-dimensional nature of some non-corporeal beings cause them to come out blurry. (Plus I've lost my last two cameras to Giggler's.)

Re: Free the dungeon
I was in the commercial game industry for over 15 years primarily employed as an artist. I can tell you if I bid the job of replacing all the artwork for Dungeon Master, I would estimate the time to produce the graphics to replace minimally the art represented in the original it would be at least 3 ...
