Re: [RTC] Return to Skullkeep, beta-tested version

Thanks Saumun. That would also be a case here, although I wasn't able to reproduce the bug in any of my scenarios. It seems like it is a RTC engine bug, unfortunately. Also the bug with daggers did not occur to me during any my playtesting.

I will take a look at the daggers issue.
Concerning Jatod's Beast form - he drops all cartied items before the transformation. Are you sure your sole spellbook was not one of them?

Re: [RTC] Return to Skullkeep, beta-tested version

Kubik: The more damage a thrown objectile does, the faster the skill gain.
Het_Blossom: I think the bug occurs whenever there is no tile for the beast to be placed on. Thanks, I need to investigate.
Also - You can't transform Kol if he is the only hero in your party, that way it would be empty.

Re: [RTC] Return to Skullkeep, beta-tested version

This creates a wall that neither party or monsters can pass (but they can still shoot through) enabling you to isolate your party from threat. The wall can be dispelled if you click on it.

Re: [RTC] Return to Skullkeep, beta-tested version

Oops! There might be an issue in the current version you are playing. There is a tree blocking your path that should not be there. I apologize for that, but there still is a solution if you do not want to restart the game.

If you have Seri in your party, you may train her to expert thief and than ...

Re: [RTC] Return to Skullkeep, beta-tested version

Hi Kubik. Yes some heroes are hungrier than others, but have some other benefits, such as poison resistance, greater luck or faster regeneration. If you are running out of food, you may need to start buying some in the tavern.

Cloud key doors are in the wolf forest to the southeast. There should ...

Re: [RTC] Return to Skullkeep, beta-tested version

- Aliai's skills are mostly meant to support other party members. The cooldown is so long so that Aliai could not recast the skill before it expires and stack the effects. It would be possible to make the skill faster, but than the effect would also have to be shorter and perhaps less noticeable ...

Re: [RTC] Return to Skullkeep, beta-tested version

Why do you think the game gets more difficult? Do you feel there is not enough gold to buy the gear you need? Is there a particularly difficult section that you think should be easier?

Re: [RTC] Return to Skullkeep, beta-tested version

Thanks, I already fixed some of the dialogue in the new upload. Currently most of the dungeon, with the exception of some dialogue, should be fixed. Thanks for playing this version, I do not have that much time to playtest everything myself.

Re: [RTC] Return to Skullkeep, beta-tested version

These are intentionally difficult to find.
Spoiler
RA rune can be obtained from RA key, which was renamed to sun key however. To gain SAR rune you need to find a SAR coin. It looks like a regular copper coin and you can find it in a dragon den under the misty glade.

Re: [RTC] Return to Skullkeep, beta-tested version

Hi, I fixed an issue with water flask not activating the water rune and added information about possibility to copy runes from potions as well to one of the elders. Hi Het_Blossom. Sorry for the late reply. The water element should be a water flask, but it works only some times. I do not understand why. Which riddle elements did you use? BRO rune can be copied from any potion you find or buy.

Re: [RTC] Return to Skullkeep, beta-tested version

OK, new version is up in ModDB. Large sections of the maps were overhauled, so even if you played this mod before, it may be a slightly new experience to you. Be cautioned, though. This may still contain some bugs. I did an extensive playtesting, but will continue to test and update this version ...

Hi Leneas, that is good to hear! Anyway, I am ...

Yes, these rocks. You may use a bomb to break a pillar into the rocks, but any such rocks can be cleaned using spike club or any other weapon, in fact.

Re: [RTC] Return to Skullkeep, beta-tested version

There is an area behind bars (you need to get there by jumping into the pit), where there are breakable rocks. If you do break them, you release a flow of an underground stream that turns a waterwheel that unlocks adjacent iron doors.

Well, keep jumping (climbing)! A tip that could help you - why don't you mark a pits that you jumped into with a stick or a plank next to them? This way you can make sure you have really been everywhere.

Yes, dull blades just do slightly less damage. Weapons only go dull after reaching 0 charges. Then you have to sharpen them again.

You need not 'use' the gathering option. Just make sure Torham is doing the gathering (his name is highlighted).

Is there not a link in this forum? I still do have a copy. Are you interested in the editor, or you are looking only for the original dungeons? I can PM you the dungeon files, but the editor is too big for that and I would have to setup a link.
