Re: French DM Novel
After a lot of work done to the Dungeon Master map, It's hard to work in the dark, because I had never played others game then DM and CSB. I don't know if I am doing right. By the way, I was wondering. Does anyone knows where should be the location of CSB on the map ? https://www.flickr.com/photos/1...

Re: RTC monster AI and NPC
I am glad you like it. It's my first attempt writing a book. I have everything to learn, so any comment or suggestion will be welcome. Syra will be the first to get inside Mt Anaais followed by Alex, then Halk and Nabi will be next.

Re: RTC monster AI and NPC
You understood the guidelines of the story that I had imagined at the beginning: 1-the journey of the warriors to the mount Ananais, 2-The descent in the dungeon, 3-The return of the champions at their homeland. But with brilliant ideas on parallel stories which you add, the possibilities are numero...

Re: RTC monster AI and NPC
Involving Daroou as a pet was only a joke. It was very funny to read your comment about it. NO way! There is no chance Syra could fall in love with a (false ball) expression from Han Solo on planet Hoth in The Empire Strike Back. For the affairs with Syra, I am going to stick with Beowuuf's ca...

Re: RTC monster AI and NPC
Having all these animals and insects in the game, would be inestimable but not urgent at the moment. They make party of the second act with Syra who it's not completed. For Halk I need only the bear, the horse, the deer and of course the wolf. We can certainly include insects like spiders and beetle...

Re: RTC monster AI and NPC
I wish to have lots of animals in the game. At the beginning when Halk leaves home, on his long voyage, he met a female deer and her kid. To survive, he catch little one for food. The mother walked away. About communicating with animals, I reserve that part for Syra. She's the one with the power to ...

She should create an account. I hope she will get the whip and make your work as a slave :) I did not like the way I drew Halk walk's poses. I am drawing a better new set of steps movements. I want him making more heavier foot step. Yes, You read my mind. I am planning to add the crow and a female d...

Re: RTC monster AI and NPC
Wonderful ideas. You open doors for me. You give me exactly what I need. I like the Halk's rescue better because there is already a link in my novel that can be use. (I resent it to your e-mail) I mentioned that Halk' son wish in secret to go hunting with his father. What we can do is one day when H...

For sure Halk is a good subject for Inexhaustible and interesting stories. If I did it, anybody can do it :) I have no experience but got good advises from real writers. his son is an excellent story to incorporate It's wonderful how you open my mind in different ways. Yes it's a good idea to create alternate stories. I tough it was not a coincident if Halk's name and his body shape are similar with the incredible Hulk. I gave him the same type of aggressiveness in...

Re: RTC monster AI and NPC
As you can see, I completely had redone his body. My first attempt was too weak. I gave him some steroids :D. I'm always fighting with myself questioning if I can evolve a character or stick closer to the original appearance. I like his new dark hair but if I change them too much, maybe people could...

Re: RTC monster AI and NPC
To draw these champions is a real challenge. I never believed at the beginning that I was able to draw them, but the skill which I possess allow me to look farther and try in spite of the pitfalls that I met. It is completely different from the architecture which I studied in my young age. I know th...

Re: RTC monster AI and NPC
Hi folks, Thanks to ebs & WZ for your encouragement. CS work very hard alone with the codes cause I know less of him in programming, zero, nada. Then I can't help him. CS is right. If any DM fan take a look on what we've done so far. I think the torch of our heart will ignite all the community. ...

Re: [RTC] New Dungeon:Castle Lynchegate
Most games with verbose NPC turn me off. "When you have to shoot, shoot, don' t talk." I suggest an objective solution for a good harmony to Castle Lynchgate: For those who do not love reading lots of texts which don't stop scrolling on the screen and you can count me on this group. You c...

Re: Who believes in bad luck
Yes, you all described well all the circumstances of a bad luck. But for some, a bad luck, would be to undergo the bad go out by being in the wrong place at the wrong time. I ear a bad story who that arrived at them. The poor people, it was atrocious for them. Yes it's certain, the chance was not on...

Re: Artificial Intelligence
One thing I don't know if it was mentioned already but I always tough some monsters are too easy to beat; I mean some time their attacks are a bit soft for the situation. Example: In DM level 3, if we count Hall of champions as level 1, the blue monsters equipped with club should be more efficient d...

My world of music revolves around great movies and game's soundtracks. My library is very diverse but my preferred composers are John Williams for various films, among others Star Wars was my favorite. The others are Vangelis for Blade runner, Richard Gibbs for the new Battlestar Galactica series, J...
