I have Windows 8 and have no problems with RTC, same for Chaos-Shaman's friends using 8.1.
So I guess if you do a factory reset, you'll have RTC saving normaly again, but if you reinstall the same softwares you're using today, you will get the same problem. Maybe it's that "superantispyware" that ...

In order to find a fix, we have to understand what's going wrong. The more details we get, the easier it will be...

I have only just reinstalled windows 8.1 one month ago , It worked one day then rtc stopped working.

hmmm, it could be a graphics file dimension has been changed somehow. install new into your desktop folder, don't copy save games over. I have a couple friends who have installed and run RTC on 8.1, it works for them, so something strange has to be going on.

That definitely sounds like Win 8.1 is preventing RTC from writing to ...

Nice to play the SNES without the bad controls. This is fun to play.

Later versions of windows require that you use DIrectX for sound.
If your CSBwin does not offer that option then you need a more
recent version of CSBwin. Perhaps:

Thanks this engine is very good and fun to use.

The direct port of Atari ST CSB (the bolded link up top) is definitely complete, and is 100% faithful (to the best of my knowledge) to original CSB. It's the recommended way to play CSB on DSB.
Unfortunately, no such port of DM exists, because I ran into some difficulties along the way and the ...

I just got it working on 0.74 with sound. Hope it works tell the end on dosbox.
