I don't understand where the minions spawns (especially in the outdoor area).
For example I closed the door to the first town but somehow minions make their way there.
Also, did anyone try putting a brassier on where guard minions spawn? Does it stop them from showing up?

I'm with the minions. Set up shop right before the last bridge, and make 4 guard minions that'll surround you completely. Now, w/o moving, just use all 4 characters to spit out asstons of attack minions, sleep, spit out more minions, sleep, rinse, repeat. When an evil minion notices that one of ...

I often blocked the portals with torches. Not directly in front, but a square away. I also got into the habit of putting torches in doorwarys where they came from, so I kept them all contained inside Skullkeep. But we've meandered off topic.

How to completely ruin your game by using closing doors
Just for kicks, here is a trick to completely ruin your game using the first locked closing door.
1. Put the key in the lock and open the door
2. Move a table under the door.
3. Close the door. The table will be getting crushed.
4. Quickly remove the key from the lock and put it on the table

Oops, I made an error in my "Average Table". Here's the corrected table:

Re: Best 3 to pick?!
Interestingly, if you are only interested in Strength + Dexterity, the champions are ordered this way:
Kol (107.5), Bane (102), Tresa (96.5), Torham (96), Jarod (93), Anders (89), Alilai (87), Graen (85.5), Uggo (84.5), Cletus (82.5), Equus (82), Odo (82), Het (81), Seri (76), Saros (72), Cordain ...

Re: Game Mechanics: Corrections, Observations & Questions
Interestingly, if you don't factor in Stamina, I get a different ordering:
Kol (190), Torham (190), Bane (189), Anders (185), Jarod (181), Aliai (175), Graen (173), Het (168.5), Seri (167) Equus (167.5), Tresa (166.5), Odo (163.5), Cletus (163.5), Uggo (159.5), Saros (159), Cordain (149.5)

Related question: what is the most cost effective way to increase Priest and Wizard levels?
From what you said, training using spells with low sub-skills would be the most efficient use of mana.
However, what power level should be used?

Re: Game Mechanics: Corrections, Observations & Questions
I see! I understand stamina is important (Kol Del Tac is terrible!), but I've never really encountered stamina issues with my champions, so that's why I thought the stat was not that useful beyond a certain amount. For example, my Cletus always had plenty of stamina so I wouldn't rate Equus has ...

Cletus & Equus VS Aliai & Jarod
I studied what the favorite champions are and I found out some consensus, but also some disagreement.
First, it seems everyone agree Bane Blade Cleaver is the best champion. With very high strength (50) and stamina (80), excellent dexterity (58), great vitality (49) and reasonable wisdom (39), Bane ...

Re: Torhams stats lousy?
According to this , Bane has the highest stats total. Compared to him, Torham's only advantage is his high wisdom, which doesn't actually seem to do much (it increases the rate of mana regeneration while sleeping).
Still, Torham is a decent hero, with all around good stats and no real weak point ...

Re: Game Mechanics: Corrections, Observations & Questions
About the stats of the Champions, I couldn't help but notice that the 4 heroes with the highest stats have very high stamina. Stamina also has a higher range (36-85, or 49 points) than other stats (30-60, or 30 points). Could it that you weighted stamina too heavily? Maybe 3 points of stamina should ...

Re: Best 3 to pick?!
Is it worth to take heroes with high wisdom? Seems like mana become less of a problem later in the game, while high strength and dexterity are always helpful.
