Hi, welcome to the forum :). So, did you play DM/CSB then? You haven't mentioned those so far but presumably since you've joined the forum dedicated to them you must've played either or both of them at some point and not hated them ;).
Sorry for late reply, I never really like the DM series ...

I'm Nico, 42 years old, I start playing RPG with MM3.
And sorry to tell you that but the EOB series is my favorite !
Regarding the new dungeon crawlers like grimrock and brothers, I find them to much clean and bright losing the retro feeling I was looking. In fact I really love the 8/16bit ...
