Did you nerf the stat buffing potions in this dungeon? It feels like buffed stats are ticking down noticeably faster than in normal RTC.

How do I open the door to get to the ku rune? Looking at the map in the editor, I haven't found any obvious triggers or keyholes to open it.

I had to take the long way to get the Ros corbum this time, because meynaf has removed the shortcut in his version.

Wait a minute, how did you manage to open the wall in the dragon den when going the opposite way? As far as I'm aware, that wall can only be opened from one side with the powertowers.

As many of you know, there is a shortcut to get the Ros corbum from Ku or vice versa.

Do you think this was intentionally done by the developers, or is it a bug in the dungeon. Meynaf certainly thinks it's the latter, so he removed it.

Finished DM with Zed. I used dmcsb this time.

I just completed Theron's Quest in meynaf's dmcsb engine. I only used Theron, since it's his quest after all :lol:

Wow - Gando must be one of the characters with the lowest Vitality in the game if he only has 40 after you completed both Dungeon Master and Chaos Strikes Back!

Finally got over my procrastination and got around to finishing my Gando run in CSB

Actually I've just found out that in the Amiga version, Health, Stamina and Mana are divided by 4 for some reason. In the Atari ST version and CSBWin they are indeed divided by 2.

Wow! I'm amazed that we were able to discover a new bug after 35 years :)

I can confirm that the bug is also present in Amiga version 3.6

I let the mummy attack me once, then backed out of there and closed the door and went upstairs and waited a bit, then went down to level 1 again and tested ...

I just installed the Hatari emulator and tested it with DM 1.1

It took 16 casts of Lo Ful to reach neophyte wizard, in line with what I found in CSBWin and dmcsb and around 60% slower than the Amiga version.

It took 72 club throws to reach neophyte ninja, the exact same number as CSBWin and dmcsb ...

While procrastinating finishing CSB with Gando (still got Dain left), I did test meynaf's dmcsb and found out that experience gain in the Atari version is indeed slower than the Amiga version.

I'm halfway through CSB, but decided to take a break and haven't played since Friday.

I'm thinking for my next run maybe I'll use RTC. I tried it in Wine, and it works fine except for a 10+ second delay before the GG splash screen pops up at launch (I don't remember if that was also the case when ...

I'm fine with the challenge of only playing one champion at a time. I definitely don't feel like doing a no spellcasting run, it would feel suboptimal to not take advantage of all the options available in the game to conquer the dungeon.

The runs tend to get kind of the similar. I did set out to see how many different DM champions I could solo the game with though.

The most noticeable difference is between champions with low wisdom/mana and high strength and champions with low strength and high wisdom/mana.
