I use wine on an M1Pro MacBook Pro.
I’ve been using it to play RTC for years successfully.
The issue is eventually Apple will kill support for Rosetta 2, which will disable wine to function if you update the OS to a version that does not include Rosetta 2 on a silicon Mac.

I recently discovered "Whiskey", a wrapper for wine that works on M1 Macs or better. So I have re-discovered DM RTC and am playing dungeons galore.
I feel like it is 1989 again! Used to own an Atari STFM. DM and CSB were (And still are) my favourite game of all time.
