Glad you are enjoying it! Try v0.02, it has many bug fixes and enhancements that will fix many of the problems that you are encountering. There is one puzzle that involves poison shooters (read the posts from linflas and Tonari) that was nearly impossible in v0.01. Let me know what you think of v0.02.

@Beowuff I will probably not release a music less version. The reason is that if I ever have to fix a problem with the dungeon, I would have to fix it in both dungeons, or remove the music each time to create a music less version. RTC will allow you to turn off the music only if you would like and s...

Re: Theron's Quest for RTC v0.01

Have that trigger be operated by [EACH_DEAD_PARTY_MEMBER] and activate a relay with the condition CHARACTER = {identifyer of the Theron character} that activates the text (and a teleporter to push you back I assume.) Thanks! I will have to try that out. If you completed the game in the original wit...

@beowuff Thanks for adding those download links! That should help people download them easier. @thom 1) I agree that the pit teleporters would be more tricky, however, this was the default behavior of Theron's Quest... so to stay true to the original I left it. 2) Currently there is no restriction t...

GG: I added the entire map to lvl 1 and added the alternate wallsets (the ones that were included in the engine) to lvl 1 as well. Other than that I have expanded on what you have already done too, but there are still many objects that have yet to be added, so I run into road blocks fast.

lol. I play tested GG's DM2 demo before v0.39 was released and told him about the fireplace being lit by fireballs, which is why it is now included. Guess I should have looked closer at mine too. @GG: Are you going to be finishing this DM2 project? If so, I have already recreated the demo and ...

Grrr! It just worked for me too. I was using a giant scorpion holding a gold coin if this helps? There is something else too, maybe it's related... I can't add graphics nor sounds anymore using the editor. I have to add them both manually. Could this be due to the fact that my dungeon is about 16mb ...

I have sent both .ogg files I was using to your email. I have more that I was using in the same dungeon. (maybe it's related to the other 16 .ogg files I was using in this dungeon...?)

Haha. No, I checked that too. Like I said, I have one freak .ogg file that does not do this, the rest do. When I use the .ogg files as Ambient Sound instead, it works as expected (full volume and all).

1)There are many problems with offsets. I have only gone through the problems with the wallsets, but here are the ones that I have found: (Name = RTCWM Offset -> Actual RTC Offset) Far3 = 32x50 -> 0x50 Left1 = 64x18 -> 0x18 Left2 = 122x40 -> 0x40 Left3 = 148x50 -> 0x50 Side0 = 64x0 -> 0x0 Side1 = 12...

[Fixed for V0.40] Bug with Ambient Music

I am trying to use .ogg files for some music. When I add them as AMBIENT_MUSIC, they play VERY low volume, almost like they are not fading in (though I have one freak .ogg file that plays fine). The .ogg files work as they should at full volume when I specify them as AMBIENT_SOUND. Hope this helps l...

[Fixed for V0.40] Crash Copying Monsters with Items

The editor crashes when you try to copy and paste a monster that is carrying an item. When I check the txt file after trying to save it, the txt file uses the same item reference as the one it copied (making 2 items with the same reference and 2 monsters carrying the same referenced item).

Well, I guess the best way to see what I mean is to try it for yourself. Here are the ones that I remember though. RTC Code: 1) The offsets for the RTC generated code was off. 2) The pit (under new objects), used a space instead of a tab (before PROPERTIES I believe) 3) RTC now has 2 new wallset bit...

It has been running just fine for me. I have used it on several computers without problems (running it that is). I encourage you to continue with this project. It has been a real time saver for me. I think the fogging and lighting adjustments that you can do with it are awesome! Keep up the good work!

I was just wondering if their was any new progress on RTCWM? I haven't heard any new news in a little while. I have been trying to use the tool to create a wallset, but it seems to have a few problems with it.

Oh!

Okay, I have found the answer this already. (guess I should have looked harder the first time) In case anyone reading this was wondering, when you clone an object and click on the OTHER tab, their are bullets there for Resurrect or Reincarnate, Resurrect Only and Reincarnate Only.

DM2 Demo - Question

How does the engine tell the difference between normal DM, and DM2 elements such as resurect only characters?

Is this something that can be changed back and forth by a simple bullet? (if not, maye it should be...)

[Done for V0.40] Adding new levels above the current ones

When you create a new level using the editor, you don't have the ability to create levels above the ones that you have already created. Could this feature be implemented in the editor for the next version?

[Done for V0.39] Left and Right Bitmaps for Wallitems

There are some wall items that I am trying to add to DM2 Alpha that use different bitmaps for both the left and right side views instead of the single side view (obelisk, town signs, ect.). Is this something that we can have added to the engine for v0.39?
