Re: Legend of Grimrock
@MasterWuuf - I had maybe the same problem when I finally broke and downloaded it last week! It was resolved by following the instructions in this link . But in summary, manually run secondary installers required by this game : ...\Steamapps\Common\legend of grimrock\vcredist\vcredist_x86.exe ...\St...

Re: DM Forum's Interactive Gamebook from 2007
Wow. I read through this the other night and couldn't remember who wrote what (well, except for the the barbarian's allergy to bats milk (and it's extraction/extortion)). Great work for posting this in html. I like the design as: The embedded piccies add a nice feel to the page You really need to sq...

Re: Questions about DSB/ESB
Is there a 'party moves into monster' event? You could always teleport it away. Also, is there a property that makes monsters attack each other, like in RTC? You'd have to mess about with monster_ai.lua to achieve this, I think. When I played around with it the version of DSB was 0.40 or earlier but...

Re: Questions about DSB/ESB
Can I make a suggestion, Gambit? The fastest way I learnt DSB, and I'm still a novice, was to download the free bareGrep tool, set up the DSB directory as the Folder parameter and then search for the dsb_ppos_tile function within all of the files to see it's usage. Grep is a phenomenal tool and real...

Re: INN OF LOST SOULS: general chit-chat thread
P.S. I've alwasys been a little surprised that there are such strong opinions coming from those who don't even live in the same country as the candidates. The U.S. is the exception to the rule. Remember that the Spanish politicians followed Bush Jr. into the Iraq war, against the general consensus....

Agree with Ameena et al.
http://f.matthill.co/arco/?p=home06.jpg is the simplest, visually speaking. Maybe better for the general public, rather than us hippy geeks on this forum.

Re: New version of my business website
Love the arrow concept. I *HAD* to follow it all down to the bottom. It really is original (to little old me). I don't say that a lot with regards to the web.
