Tried the windows port, played poorly under XP :( Shame it was a cool ( if inferior to DM/CSB/(RTC) ) game.

Projectile weapons

Ignoring the arrows/quivers stuff, for me it works fine, I like the idea or having a spear/pike class of weaponry. Maybe with the possibility of losing your grip during attack and the weapon remianing embedded in your foe (which opens up needing even more graphic elements and possible additions to t...

Tiles and Things

After reading the whole thread and getting the latest version of the tiles, I have started to convert the original tiles from the CSB magic map (with artistic license for the extra tiles not in the game :) I have also added a couple (after scouting through the default dungeons) just to make things s...

Man after looking through this forum at some of your posts I can only draw one conclusion, either you don't like M$ or you just like to knock other people. I suggested using VB as an obvious database solution, and after scanning through a couple of RTC dungeon files, I still think this is the way to...

Re: DirectX -> SDL

It would be nice to see RTC on the Amiga although the Amiga version of CSB is by far the best IMOHO but then again Im an Amiga guru anyway i still run an A1200 040 tower, and u can play DM and CSB from HD with patches.
Unkle Ka5

Re: Editor

OK Gab that's what i meant, I think BV is perfect for an editor for RTW, cos it's just a big database really, I designed but never produced an ed years back for the original DM/CSB so if u wanna team up and make this happen I'll be glad to help u design/prduce although i cant code for @#%$, or any o...

Dungeon Anomolies

I think u are missing the point, in FTL CSB the knights died when u dropped them down the 2 pit trap, that was the reason for the double pits, now they don't. So it needs addressing IMHHO

Dungeon Anomilies

It appears the Death Knight's in ROS on CSB are too tough, you should be able to dipatch them by dropping them down the double pit arrangement, but you can't, please fix it George

Making an Editor For Return To Chaos

I think i could design and maybe help in the production of a Visual Basic Editor if anyone is interested. I always wanted to make an editor for DM/CSB. :wink:
