Interesting topic. I just spent 3 or so months helping to playtest and design a game with a good friend of mine. Our Programmer was....well....he wasnt terribly good at programming. Tried to cut every corner he could and made the most ridiculous mistakes on earth. But EVENTUALLY he got it right! (ee...

Hey if there are any Table top wargamers lurking around the forum (yes, you know who you are  hiding in a basement painting entire 50 strong regiments of Orc's at 3am in the morning) then you might want to check this fantastic website out. http://www.thanesgames.com/ Its Warhammer, but far ...

Hehe, I'd definately buy and wear one, and I hate those cheesy 'hilariously rude' T-shirts. But Im a sucker for all things Freudian. If you used an extremely serious looking Freud picture like this http://www.bu.edu/mih/images/Freud.jpg It'd probably make it even funnier. I admit its not exactly the...

I too lost a kitty long ago to old age. Took 5 years to get over it and get a new kitty! (incidentally 'new kitty' looks virtually identical to 'old kitty'!)

I feel your pain man :(

I think a film that should become compulsory viewing for everyone on Earth is Akira.

At the end of it I was left thinking "What the hell just happened!"
for 10 minutes.

First Matrix film was easily the best. The others had great special effects and action scenes, but not much else for me.

Heroquest was a fantastic conversion of the board game, but I didn't soil my underwear playing it unlike Space Crusade. These days my laundry basket is happier. I dont blame ya Ian_Scho, that dreadnaught was enough to give the stoutest hearted Marine the heebie-jeebies. Its a real shame they dont r...

Speaking of old Games Workshop games, did anyone here ever play Heroquest? The definitive late 80's dungeon crawler, to be played with heavy metal in the background naturally. Looking back on it, its so incredibly cheesy (your fighting the wizard Morkar for gods sake!) and shamelessly generic. Thats...

Does anybody remember...........

It was from this very forum that someone reminded me of Betrayal at Krondor! So I need a memory jog, does anyone remember a game on the amiga, where the main character was a Cyborg, who could transform into a robotic Dinosaur and a Robot-tank. You had to fight an uber-robot called "The prowler&...

Zailbound (RTC dungeon in production)

Greetings all. In my infinite boredom ive started a new Dungeon, Zailbound (dont worry you'll find out what a Zail is when you play!) and I desperately need one or two playtesters to see if it's worth continuing or not. If your interested/have nought to do/want to laugh at inferior craftsmenship, ju...
