NEXUS HOME ^_____________^

Post by dmologist »

ok folks i tired to find space and thought aobut turning my HD into an ftp(i may still do) but after endless searching i all but gave up on the idea of giving the game a home... well today I may have found one ^__________^ noticed on segaextreme site a link that said "ftp" so i checked found a few... then hit the messageboard... posted "i need space for Nexus", and someone said upload it to there ftp. Right now i'm connected and trying to transfer it. I have also noticed some people having DM2 for sega cd
I'll post a final message once all of this is cleared up.

emulators

Post by dmologist »

yes of course there isn't but that's not the point... a cd burner is really all you truely need(you can swap it like imports) but you can find mod chips for around $30 that allows you to play cdr's and you can alter the country code to what you need if you don't have something to play imports. now tell me, would buying a cheep mod chip and maybe a saturn be so bad just for the chance to play DM Nexus? More so since you can keep reburning cdr's i mean i don't expect all cd's to last forever.

Well for those that do want it i got 2 homes at the moment.

well anyway's here we go 2 homes:

the first one is a ftp://zx7ninja.dyndns.org:21/ L\P: sega games
cdrwin bin+cue sorry if you can't use it(no cdrwin format for mac, linux ect). the bin file is 206mb so watch out...

the next home(not so good), is a f-serve(file server) on dalnet, goto: #saturn-isos and use the trigger(command\type) !arc-saturn
you sohuld find it in the uploads area.

new home confirmed and more cool news

Post by dmologist »

ok someone else has a ftp(info to be released once fully uploaded) becuase they are on a mac i'm going to using winrar(since they can handle rar compression) and swithcing to the universal cd image format(ISO) and droping the cdrwin "bin cue" format.

I have a Saturn and Nexus and a universal country selector on order, so I *can* play Nexus within the next few weeks (fingers crossed) and I won't need to download the ISO....

re needed

Post by dmologist »

like i said if something should happen...
i mean where did you find the game? do you tihnk everyone can afford that amount of money for it? when about $20 and some soddering stuff can patch your saturn to play cdr's? plus this way you know you can alway's get it. I can afford gba games and new pc games, but to know i can alway's find it if i can't is cool. having DM2 for amiga rather it can run on any emulator or not is something i like.

Hey, I wasn't starting an argument here. But your attitude shows what little regard you have for the games software industry, and is the same old argument that everyone uses when they try to justify software piracy.

This is not a valid argument. If you can't afford it, then you shouldn't have it, plain and simple. All the versions of DM that I possess I have bought with my own money, and I have every version (well, nearly every version) of all the games. I bought them as part of my research for my Dungeon Master web site; I have the money to do that, and it's what I choose to spend it on. If I didn't have the money, then I wouldn't have bought them, it's that simple.

i'm not here to tell me what is right and wrong, just provide those that are willing a link to that game. I wish Victor would care and atleast make it easier to get.
Those that will buy the game will rather or not i post this(well maybe alittle mroe likely) but those that won't buy it or atleast some legal payment for the game will find there own way's to get it. I'm just telling others you can find this game someplace to download. the message itself "sounds like i totally disreguard for the software indrusty" but I'm only replying that like, not that I personally am like that. Notice i'm not saying "btw i got skullkeep iso, and gba games i can now transfer to computer", for this old EXTREMELY HARD TO FIND GAME I'm saying here you want it go ahead.
what aobut all those operating system flies(aka atari and amiga bios\OS ones) or music? i'm sure people over look that. i mean i can buy a game but if i go "well i got a game for system X so i guess downloading the OS of that system is ok". when it comes to software alot of people seem to get fussy aobut this but downloading mp3's or sometihng and one turns deaf. I said "lack of funds" for this game, i'm not about to go "well geez people don't have $25 to $30 for gba games so i'll let them download mine" or other games.

You can normally get it through

http://dmweb.free.fr , but the url is temporarily down for the last few days though ...keep checking back there, and once it's back up you can find it on the games setup section
Was unable to (permenantly) kill off ian_scho (Haynuus), Ameena, oh_brother (Westian), money (Falkor), raixel (Petal) and Lord_Bones (Aurek) in the DM D&D game Time's Champions!

CONGRATULATIONS TO THOSE WHO MADE THE GAME WHAT IT WAS - GREAT!

Dungeon Master Nexus

Post by steveb »

Is the ISO still available to download? I've tryed buying it from several places but they always tell me they've sold out of DM Nexus. :( It's one of the hardest games to get hold of. I've tried that FTP site and it appears to be down. Could someone possibly re-upload it to an FTP site? I'd love to play this game.

Greetings I'm formally known as DMologist, as a twist of fate this nickname is infact directly related to Dungeon master(i've done alittle translating of the Nexus Manual). i tihnk the 2nd best POWER(low, um, mon, ect) is "PaRu" and nexus well name of the game  anyway's I got the CD still my HD crashed and i lost those files and guides ect to making a rip of the game. Right now I'm very busy trying to get a virus scaner, and mroe protection programs and trying to get everything else back to normal. I tihnk the iso's ect where udner 200mb if someone has space I'll provide the files pending my ability to rip it again. the only place that has it is videogamesdepot but that has had major problems remaining online, currently not loading ;(
