Post by myjean17 »

Is there any way to extract the addon pack manually on OS X?

I've uploaded all the files from Add-On packs: 0.1 and 0.2 here:

You'll need a 7-zip compatiable extractor.

I just downloaded the file without any problems. I used a download manager (FlashGet) to do it. I have better success using a download manager and capping the max down rate.

It contains the files of 1 and 2. I don't think that any files from 3 are available.

To my knowledge it doesn't exist yet for any platform.

I tried it and failed too. I use WinRAR 3.80 beta 5, and it says that the file is either damaged or in a un-know format. Sorry, I can't help you. :(

You need to use 7-zip if that helps

Yep, 7zip all the way -- in fact, uninstall all your other de-compressors (WinZip, WinRAR, etc) as 7zip handles them all and is generally much more efficient.

Tried with several 7zip unarchivers (p7zip, keka, 7zX, The Unarchiver, StuffIt Expander),
but all of those said "Unsupported format", "Can not open file as archive" etc

Will try again another time, thanks :)

Yeah. I think that the file is (or was when I tried) damaged, because WinRAR is an all-powerful mighty tool which normally extracts the *.7z files without any problems. :)
