[April Fool's] DSBOS

Recently, I bought a Chromebook, which runs ChromeOS: essentially, Google's Chrome browser made into an operating system. It occurred to me that this was a really good idea, because making the browser the operating system itself allowed the developers to focus on what they really wanted the system to do. Having struggled with Windows, and virtualization, and such, it occurred to me: why not make DSB an operating system, too? DSB backwards is BSD, and BSD is a pretty good OS, so that pretty much seals the deal.

DSBOS's main purpose will, of course, be playing DSB, but I also want to make sure that it is a functional operating system for doing other things, like clicking on icons. Most of the icons won't actually do anything, but most people won't be able to tell the difference anyway. There will also be a command line, using Lua as the basis for the shell, of course. Naturally, I'll also include a web browser, called DSBrowser, with a collection of links sorted by which DM character would find them the most interesting. Don't open the Mophus folder.

Another 365 days have elapsed. I'm looking forward to 2020; an extra
day of rest.

So tired after work, I'd actually forgotten it was AFD.
DSBOS for world browser domination!

Shouldn't DSBrowser rather be called Drowser? It's much easier to pronounce.

Such an OS sounds awesome, though it may require dedicated hardware. I propose a Chaosbook, with a painrat pointing device. It would need at least 16 Gor of Ra, a clock speed of at least 3.1 Mana hurts, and a screen resolution of 1080 Pal.

I tested that, but it didn't work out. People kept falling asleep.
