Bugger. I'm locked in somewhere, and can't get back to the beginning. Start over?

OK, a few problems:

1) On the Ruby way, I'm stuck at some pits and fireball spinners -- anything in the area to do, or should I explore elsewhere first?

2) I have opened Ruby & Sapphire Ra locks, but have a spare RA key -- is it needed anywhere?

3) I can't open any of the gates in the Chambers of the Guardians -- do these open from the other side?

4) Can't find anything sharp enough to release the amalgam. Is it necessary to do so?

It's been a long time and I don't remember much. I think 4) rings a bell, though: What kind of gem could be in there? Then you know what you need. And yes, it is necessary (if my memory is true).

And yes, finding FUL is something you can be proud of. :)

I'm assuming I need Diamond Edge but I haven't found it yet.

I seem to be stuck now. The only way forward seems to be past the munchers but they are really mean! Aha, I have FUL now...

"No hope! Go back!"

Good idea!

Where's the object needed to satisfy the mechanical eye? -- the one near some pits on Ruby with flying eyes making my life a misery...

Also, there is a locked gate around the corner from where you get the Lyte armour. A key is on an alcove behind it. I can't seem to open this gate!?

- 2) yes.
- eye in Ruby "says" what it needs. Object is guarded by a spider, after the fireball room where your eyes can lie.
- gate near lyte armour : a water elemental holds the hint.

Ah! I thought I had tested all those pits. Progressing nicely now :)

I've long since killed all those and forgotten anything they may have left behind... could you be more specific?

Re: [RTC] Sukumvit II discussion - spoilers

I've completed all the trials. I've been to the Dragon's Lair and got the Ra Helm (can you get the armour?), but I couldn't get to the dragon behind the nearby gate. with the rocks in front (though I saw him from the other side on Sapphire). Looks like this is another route to the munchers? I got past the 7 rings puzzle and opened the turquoise room, but can't progress there. I have a diamond and an emerald. No ruby or sapphire though.

No blood key for downstairs. No master key for Firestaff. No winged key for the armoury.

Still can't get past the munchers, I can get into the room but get teleported back. Do I need to do this now that I've completed the 7 rings? There doesn't seem to be anything else useful in there?

I get the feeling I've missed one thing that connects all these, but checking my maps, I can't seem to find anywhere else to go. I can't get past the 11 braziers and hazes on the lowest level. There are still quite a few gates that seem to be locked from the other side dotted around, especially 3 in the Chambers of the Guardians.

Any final tips to get me moving again?

That was my first thought, but I can't get to the tile with the armour on...?

Er.......Doh! I need to think less literally -- I was trying to find a way of actually placing it on the armour, not just lobbing it over there! Thanks :)

Woo, completed it! Brilliant stuff :D

Bit perturbed by my scores though. Very high negative scores for Air, Fire & Water. What's the calculation? Only Earth is positive. I don't get it?

I'll write a review when I get some time next week, I'm away this weekend. Thanks for a great dungeon! :)

Since I'm currently updating the Encyclopaedia with version informations and also are gathering dungeon files for backup purposes:

Since V0.48 shows Sumkumvit 2d, but V0.47 doesn't - am I right that it was created with V0.48 or was created with an earlier version like V0.47 and later updated to V0.48, but was never updated to V0.49?

Would you maybe be willing to supply the source files for backup purposes, please? (of course still only you alone decide whether they shall be publicly released.
or not)

That'd be wonderful! If it's not bigger than 30 MB (I think that was the limit) you can send it via email to me (my name here at gmail dot com), if it's bigger you can maybe split it or upload it somewhere and send me the link.

Also, having your marvellous media, especially the grafics would be great.

Can you also verify the version information and specify, whether source files and/or media you send shall be backupped locally only, or are permitted to be uploaded publicly?

Great! I received the data.

Can you please confirm that I may upload the source text file publicly as long as I keep the text file encoded with the Sukumvit-based quiz password?

What about the media - are they for public upload or for non-public backup only?

Everything public. The source as well because it's protected with the quizz password.

Stuck on a couple of things. First one is the object to remove the ruby from the wal on one of the upper levels. Second is I am in the maze of Living doors, there is obviously some simple way of finding the exit but i can't fathom it out and just keep going around in circles. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Linflas

Thanks for hints. However, I haven't got a compass so don't know which way south is. I notice that only some of the doors are opening. Is there a way to make the other doors open. I have got to a room where there are no buttons on the floor but I can here clicks when I stand on the floor, does this mean some thing. What are the buttons on the floor doing exactly. Any chance you could give me directions from the outer door i.e LLRRL etc
