Christmas Dungeon

Post by the master »

I was just wondering if anyone had considered making a "Christmas" type of dungeon.

Thye'd probably only consider it close to Christmas, and find there's no time to get it done for the holiday season! :D

Probably not.

How about I just put a nice festive hat and shirt on Chani, like usual? :D

I have absolutely no clue why this forum only has two active female members. None at all.

I think most people overlook her since she spends 99% of her time in the D&D game, and I suppose most people not involved usually don't read that.

Yeah, I think the point is I shouldn't be overlooking her :D

Edit: And why isn't anyone else reading? My players are throwing out gold pretty much each and every day! *sniff* it's me, isn't it? It's my badly spelled long posts *sniff* Eh, you don't need those to make sense of the game. Just assume something really horrible is happening or about to happen.

Lol...and there's my really long posts too...though I think they are somewhat better-spelt than yours, if I may say so ;). And, you know, not missing the ends of entire sentences here and there ;).

It's almost like I've got to think about my posts and react to multiple things and craft a compelling narrative to drive the next part of the game, and you get to just post whatever's on your mind at the time! :p

Well, I do read the D'n'D story sometimes, but it's very long - I rarely have enough time and I lose the plot often. Perhaps you should prepare an abstract or the "story so far"? :)

It always surprises me how well are these posts written and how much effort and time and creativity you devote to it! :P

I made photo real wallset but have problems with flip, when its set different north-south-east-west then floor and sky dont flip right-left. So instead four views am use one which flip. There should be road and trees in side view, now am only use inside forest. Anybody known how solve that?

the _alt i think flips it, remove the label. is that a floor or roof you are using? cause i think the floor goes over the roof.

Alt is for walls, am use only floor, roof and scenery trees. There is chance that i could made wide scenery of trees look like wall, then it could work for road labirynth.

You don't need to to do that, Chaos Shaman. See the Ravenhood download to see what Zed's done. It works.

i will. i thought that the front 1,2,3 views alternate automatically. so what i did was add a second wallset, hmm, i am releasing my wallset demo of EoC today, it has examples of what i have done.

Chaos
I liked the dungeon a lot. The walls were great and made a real change from the normal dungeon walls. I didn't get very far into the game as the gigglers were reproducing at a terrific rate and in the end just got on my nerves. I just hope that you temper them down in the final version. This is looking like a real winner and I look forward to the final game.

Well in fact am not use any wallset, because there is no walls, just floor roof and scenery similar to background (which may block player as wall)

I made second wallset in this concept, autumn which have more details and its close to realistic (new screens in Ravenhood)

BTW am downloading Essence of Chaos and will see how you made that walls

Well, I think that all front views have no alternate, just auto alternates, this includes the floor, roof, and front views. I see that the wallset area is not complete. If you choose individual pngs for your wallset, you'll only see the north view. I wish the other views worked, because when and if they do, It will be much easier to create those scenes. That GG is a Wizard. Hope he continues to update his awesome engine.
