Middle click = put away?

Post by Sophia »

While it's still fun to play DM, sometimes it's not fun to deal with its 25 year old interface. To me, one of the biggest annoyances is picking up objects, especially after making a lot of ranged attacks.

For DSB 0.58, I'm thinking of enabling the middle button, and making it the same as clicking the bars, i.e., perform a "put away" action. This will allow a whole pile of items on the floor to be put away with a series of quick clicks.

Any other thoughts or suggestions?

Go voice command.
Imagine spoken spells: "Mon Fir Bro Neta", "Lo Vi Bro", "Mon Ful Ir".
Imagine spoken fights: "Throw", "Stab", "Berserk".
A limited set of words.

Voice synthesis is much easier.
Imagine an off voice: " Darou just gained a fighter level".
