Japanese Dungeon Master Fan Art!

Post by Gambit37 »

I found an interesting animé cartoon while researching Dungeon Master on the web. Reasonably amusing:

The page is titled "The reality of Dungeon Master" ...quite true!

It is nice, and applies to most RPGs in fact...

"Sorry, Mr Chaos, I am just getting out of your dungeon, I think I lost my way..."

Shame I don't have the codepage. Very gibberish. But nice nonetheless. ;)

" Actuality of John Don * master "

When the stage name you obtain and scratch the work

Writer comment:
The そ just it is the baggage having, don't you think? the cod fight, the ろ which is the ぇ!

Other things real are regrettable truly in just the game, (the ^^;

Obtaining you scratch it returns to between.

it's still not quite english.. but it makes a little sense.. :)

I've started to look at Japanese, as it's something I've wanted to do for a long time. Haven't got anywhere with it yet; it's such a different way of reading and writing than we're used to. But I love the beauty of the ideograms and want to paint calligraphy, so I think and understanding of the language is a good place to start.

It's weird because there's no indication from each symbol how to pronounce it. That's a massive learning curve in itself, even before you can understand any of it!

japanese?

Post by ParuNexus »

i should point out that writen and speach are different. I hand translated the DM nexus manual well part of it. and also was "dan john master"
a classic example of writen and speach is "godzilla". as i recall in japan they say "goJIra" but writen it is GoZIra. form where america atleast gets the name "godzilla". both have different symbols... my HO: get like 3 or 4 different japanese to english dictionaries, one with atleast all hiragana and katakana smybols. I'd also sugest if you can find it a kanji one too. thou in most case's you won't need to look up kanji.

Somebody just moved this thread here, right? I was wondering why there was no "new" message and it still appeared seemingly out of nowhere...

actually if you read the post right above yours you will find it was posted the same date as yours.. so it was new.

People dig up old posts all the time and dust them off. It's half the fun of new users. :)

I somehow had the impression there was another date on that post... well obviously I was mistaken.

Ahem.

Perfectly possible. I think I spent too much time on the "holy scroll" so any effects and vision taking place now can easily explained by that

Hello all,

I see that this thread is still alive.. It appears that the URL is broken? I cannot ever connect to that site. Any updated links?
