Sure, check out the Walkthrough additions for the other combination.

Yes. In walkthru, I found two way to combine with.
In skullkeep 2nd floor, there are 3 alcoves and some items in each,
North alcove: red gem, gold coin
East alcove: spirit cap, mana blossom
South alcove: meteor metal, staff

And, the combinations which boiler merges items with are
The first way: mana blossom+staff >>> snake staff
The second way: red gem+gold coin+spirit cap+meteor metal >>> blue steel

I hope there are more combinations, I'm looking for more combinations and If if find, I'll report here.

Sorry, but there are know others. The vat can also recharge the Numen Staff. That's about it.
