Fighter gem

Post by Lunever »

How is the door at Enc. z00/x30/y20 opened? According to the Hint Oracle you need the fighter gem, and DMute shows that it is opened by an invisible floorpad before it (sorry, probably the answer to my question is also in DMute, but I don't know them hexes in there), but by what is it triggered? What item is considered to be a fighter gem? I know it's not important, but I've always been wondering.

My recollection was that the fighter "gem" is a boulder...

It's been ages since I've played that bit so perhaps someone else could clarify that?

Yes, Gambit and Beowuuf have confirmed that already, it's a boulder indeed.

I already posted in the Encyclopedia, sorry if you read it there, but aren't these coordinates referring to the door in front of the worm room that holds the Inquisitor?

It's one of the 2 doors leading from the Ku entrance to the FulYa-Level into the worm's lair.

Hmm. DMute 1.4 says this door is triggered by "Party only". (30,20,0- Global Offset).

No it doesn't, it says it's triggered by Everything. Then you need to view the hex value of the door to work out which object the party must carrying.

You must be looking at the wrong things...

I only looked at the first entry with DMute and did not heed the second one. Sorry. Thanks for clarification.
