REAL History facts?

Post by ParuNexus »

I'm sure others have noticed by now but i was still unaware... REAL facts inbeded in DM? shockingly true.

http://www.dungeon-master.com/forum/vie ... hp?t=25011

The post i made about iaido with the historical bit, I only sutmbled upon.

One thing I do alot is take a name or word and look it up and play with it.

honestly: I havn't heard of Iai(do) before today. Before posting that I tohught google the last name see if it even shows up under DM.
and thus began my search for historical names\words etc.

Iaido = 15th centary Japanese Martial Arts sword style.
Chiburi = shaking the blood from the sword

Chanisihayah = Chani From the Dune books.

alexander? = nuff said
nabi = prophet islam\hebrew

more later

I guess so! If *someone* hadn't distracted *someone else* then that *someone else* might be producing a website with facts about the programmers rather than messing about with dungeons in a newly polished clone engine : )

Yeah, you know who you are!
