Heh, I finished all 33 levels of Bloxorz! Though I kept realoding from saved codes, so my final stats are not accurate at all. I had to resort to a bit of help for stage 29, which was a shame, but still quite pleased with myself. ;-)

I saw a trailer for that on Sunday when I went with a friend to see Bee Movie...have you seen the original animation of Horton? I saw it years ago - we taped it off the telly along with "How the Grinch Stole Christmas"...not seen either of 'em since I was maybe ten or so, but they were both good, I recall :).

Grinch and Horton are mostly well known for uk/us people. I discovered yesterday that Horton was written by the same author as Grinch, but that's all ;)

Yeah, Dr Seuss...writer of such things as "Fox in Socks", "The Cat in the Hat", and a load of other tongue-twistery books :).

Wow, round 30, that beetle kicked the scorpion's ass!!! Chaos should have put those in the dungeon instead!

I don't really approve -- Check out round 27, wasp vs. grasshopper, hardly a fair fight, or the crayfish vs. beetle, fight #8. If they are gonna set these things up, at least put real enemies together, some of these would never meet in the wild!
Absolutely awesome! Love the last bit where they all combine :D

Your link, Pad, was great. I love the originality of the game.

I had no idea what was going on in that game until the second life, then realised how clever it was. Gets messy after a while though!

Ohh I've played that before...a couple of weeks ago, in fact, and finished it - good stuff :D. Another game on that site is called, I think, Honshi (or Hoshi) Saga. There's also a Honshi (Hoshi?) Saga 2. Basically there's a load of levels and the object in each one is simply to click on the star.
Of course, you have to find it first...

how can you pass level 8 ? i mean there's a plate that triggers a stair but.. wtf ?

Posted: Wed Feb 20, 2008 11:41 am
by ian_scho
Is that the one where you have to hold the cursor over the pressure plate.... And then the NEXT cursor that comes along can pass up the stairs when you replay your turn. Clever eh?

I recall that never got to the top level, I assume I had to click not only the 3 lvl 15 pressure plates (with 3 cursors, of course), but others as well? Maybe I missed something. The memory dulls with time, measured in days and not years!

Yeah, all the clickies have to be held in at once, so when you find one, have that cursor click-and-hold on it, and continue holding until its time runs out. That should be enough time (if you're moving quickly enough) for the other, later cursors to ascend to the last level and click to open the final stairway.
