Of course, that means that you can try and stat out the monsters ahead of time. Although most of the DM monters don't exactly directly compare to D*D monsters, being subtle variants *cough*

LOL. Nah, it's for the RPG side of my DM clone. As you know, I only get the internet at given times of day, and without being able to look up the details online, I couldn't progress without the net. On top of that, Internet Explorer used to be able to "Make available offline", version 7 and above don't. Even Opera can't do it.

EDIT: You should check out my character sheet, it looks more like what it does on my PC (not quite there yet, though).

Sorry, taken a while to settle in tonight. Money, if you are around could you roll me fireball damage (1d6+1+1d3)? Otherwise, I'll do it on your behalf. Update up soon.

Ameena wrote:What else was I gonna say...oh yeah, I take issue with your referecne to the "only murderous nutter" being dead. At least while Drommal is still alive ;)
He's not a nutter, just evil!
And I re-checked your post - it does say that he smashed his heel into her face
I meant that the previous version said pushed, and I rewored it to smashed as it sounded too wishy washy, like that woulnd't actually have done any damage.
Haynuus needs the skill my Kobold's got
Yeah, those kobolds and so on are evil lile things. There was an actual play I was listening to where a goblin shamen was backing up some goblins. Usually you miss a goblin in melee, they get to shift. This shamen let the goblins shift three squares!

Sorry for delay... Is this right?

1d6+1 = 4+1(5)
1d3 = 2

Cheers :)

Damn right, and better than what I rolled for you (2 and a 1 to make 4)!

Weee, update up soon, stupid stated characters. Next fight, everyone is the same ... players and NPCs both.

Yeah, windows seems to want to punish me for how I want to do things. Notepad has never been the same since the win98 days (why bother having it as an accessory if you're just gunna feck it up) and I love the quirks of my psp under win 7 :(

Anyway, update up, map to follow. It's still thrilling. I'm not sure how at the same time I can be worried the fight is too hard and too easy, so I assume this means it's about right. :D

Thinpas... (C2 - F2, G3, H3... followed by: attack roll 1d20 = 11, damage roll 1d8 + 1 = 3 + 1 = 4)
Did you mean G4 LB? Also, you can't double move/run and attack in the same round I'm afraid. You could get to F2 and still attack Marhmam

It's six squares 30ft, and I was meaning diagonal movement. So, B3-C2(5ft) C2-D2(10ft) D2-E2 (15ft) E2-F2(20ft) F2-G3 (25ft) G3-H3(30ft end of movement) then attack.

You are wearing heavy armour, you have 20ft movement :) Thinpas did a withdraw and got twice his movement for 8 squares

The good news is you are removing dexterity from too many places. You only reduce your dex bonus to AC< all other places retain the full bonus

Cool. Thanx for the notes on dex. And, damn, I can't rip into Thinpas this round!

Lol, no you can't. Plenty more steel-clad fish in the room :D You can always take centre spot beside Farel and Haynuus! See, you'd never get a three man fronnt row in DM! This is ISHTAR RULES NOW!

Rolled a 12 for intimidate. Actually on my character sheet I have + 4 for intimidation, I think it is charisma bonus plus synergy with bluff skill. Nice, maybe we could turn this into an insult-based sword fight! "You fight like a cow-heard"...and so on and so forth! :D

OB, you can roll a 3D6 for your VI potion if you like :) Thanks!

Lol:
"You fight like a cow, sir!"
*stab*
"I'll show you the yellow of your guts"
*stab*
"Stop stabbing me!"
*stab*

Hmm, so 12 for the roll, +4 for your skill bonus, +2 for Falkor standing by your side over the corpse of the last officer he toasted, and the original +2 bonus due to the whole Haynuus circumstance. That looks liek a 20 to me. Hmm, as you might guess, Captain Drommal isn't easily shaken, but that's an impressive score to level against him...

Responding to insults with violent stabs, that Drommal is a clever one! :D At least the insult registered, I worried that a small, not-so-battle-scarred half elf priest stood a chance of just being laughed out of the room!

3d6 = 11, at least he is back in positive hit points!

+3 total hp may not seem like much. But, that was actually a decent roll.

Lol, yeah, it helps to have a half-orc who just won't die, a murderous halfling, and the ability to raise people from the dead without breaking sweat on your side :D

Plus let's face it Wesatina has been an enigma for ages - he's just been too naively confident to not be more than he seems!

Anyway, I seem to have a full house of moves, and I sorta know what the major players are doing, so I should be able to get the update done at a decent time. Just leaving work now!

@OB: Just a thought here, but don't you get a bonus to healing aswell, won't that heal Haynuus more?

He does, he's only casting an UM healing spell and getting ON level restoration with it :)

(And I've edited my post based on the fact I'm in the OOC thread and don't need to bold my words. Hmm, unless I SOUND MORE LIKE A DM LIKE THIS! WAHAHHA!

Now I'd have let the NPC's go off and do their thing, to be perfectly honest. Just happy to finish the encounter alive :)

That's not heroic, heroes charge after the bad guys and righteously slaughter them mercilessly....no, wait, I'm actually not sure what the heroic option is here....

Just to reassure Westian, he can actually lean over to administer a potion to Falkor as a move action from where he is without drawing an AoO.

Hmm, and I just realised something to do with how many spells I let money have... oops, the combination of Aurek being 4th level and money getting to turn a LO spell into an UM spell confused me... oh well, since it was in the player's favour, and since it didn't actually get fired off, let's just call it a draw then, shall we... *runs*

Sorry money, you actually only had three fireballs to cast, just you could turn one of the LO ones into an UM one, which is what you did. I guess I need (another) sheet to track the party status better. Maybe this weekend I might get to backtrack and finish going through the previous posts to accurately know what items, etc you lot have.

Oh, and I realised that I didn't make it clear that anyone who drank a potion (Thinpas and Brohur) would be swiftly taking their helm off as part of that move action. Thinpas is already described, Brohur has a red, round face, darting brown eyes, and has a small shock of scrappy curls. Or he did, untilhe legged it.

Technically speaking, he still does, of course...
