LOL. Good thing you can't critically fail on your stabalisation roll! That would have been...unfortunate!

You've got the Spells info on the character sheets, me thinks? The number of spells as well? I assume that they are a per encounter rather than per day thing. I like the way you've merged the genres here, especially as Falkor can add power to his fireballs with his level 0 fireworks.
Not sure if you, Beo, meant the NPC's to run off and we leave them in the ether now. Or whether it really is worth effort to chase after them. Need to get Ameena back first, though!

Yes, I was wondering what has happened to Ameena...running for the exit? I won't be chasing down any bad guys, just getting the flask back off Haynuus and using my last spell to try and cure Falkor.

Don't know if I can give the potion to Falkor this turn, I think taking the flask from Haynuus is a move, and pouring it down Falkor's throat is a standard action?
Rolled for healing, 2d6 =
7, phew!
Not to congratulate ourselves too early (Drommal and pal are still around) but it was a good encounter. The bad guys were believable and nasty. Haynuus, Falkor and Aurek kicked some ass. Also good role-playing - especially Ameena sticking to her principles and avoiding the fight.

Haynuus is doing nothing else, so he can move action it to you, and as I said earlier giving it to Falkor is amove action, so you are all good. The standard action is the spellcasting.
And yeah, good thing you didn't roll low!
Pity Ameena is dead now since you guys didn't care to go after her. Oh well
As you say, the encounter is not yet over! Money, Falkor gets a full set of actions acting just after Westian this round. Once again, since he's prone you'll need a move action to get up.
Glad you are enjoying the encounter! Thnak goodness no one died (permenantly). Yet.
Oh, all the powers are on the individual character sheets, but then that's more hunting around. I was keepign the NPCs together on one sheet, then decided to split them up - that was a mistake.
I track the party and enemy's hit points and conditions, but haven't tracked the used pwoers anywhere relying on memory and checking back. Not good if I am mixing up how much stuff everyone has though! I'll keep a full cheat sheet of the combat next time.
Anyway, as per always your choice of actions are yours. The dungeon moves around you and if you leaves these guys running around, their actions
are still being tracked by me in a nebulous way. As you may have spotted, there tends to be no 'good' nor 'bad' choices reeeeeeally, just consequences and benefits. Going with the soldiers was risky, but that risk could also have gotten info. Attacking them riskier still, but you have regained your freedom, got further into the dungeon (is that a good thing) and have some better equipment and flasks! You've missed out on things, you've gained things. Though the pick pocketing bonanza certainly served you well
So yeah, bad guys going in two directions, allies going in two directions, some bad guys still around, and one uncontested exit... choices choices!

You are of course joking about Ameena's non squeaky status...

Well, if you wanted to metagame it, her hp hasn't changed on the map... then again, maybe that's an oversight/mislead :p
And yeah, you can update for Haynuus handing over the flask and taking a moment to think

Ok, just need money's move and let's see what's happening. Money, you might not have any magical powers left this encounter, but you still have the power of your voice. If you want to ask any questions, or make any threats, go right ahead
Ok, I think I know how it's goign to go down - unless money's actions provoke anything, you might have a breathing space.
Aurek, I think I'll need an AoO from you just incase... base attack roll, basic damage please! Assuming you'd attack Thinpas if he were temporarily vulnerable, say from darting through the door and closing it...

As for Ameena's current status, you'll have to find out...that's assuming you can find her, of course. Or whatever's left of her

.
That said, when you last saw her she was in health enough to run away - Helm wasn't faring so well so maybe someone should spare a thoguht for him too, eh?

You're back early!
And yeah, the next update might....just might....deal with him. Well, not really. But it will deal with the door that Thinpas is beside, which relates to Helm
Funny how things work out, Helm and Farel have conflicting goals, so I assumed they would act as the party's 'follow this guy' 'no, follow this guy' ' screw those guys' dynamic...instead, Ameena went one way, the NOCs went another

I'm back early 'cause club was cancelled tonight - the GM is ill. But on the other hand, it does mean I'm home to watch the new series of QI start and won't have to watch it on IPlayer

.
Back to the RPG, I rather hope Helm is alright - he's probably Ameena's favourite person out of all those she's met so far in the dungeon (though I think she's quite alright with Haynuus - sadly her status with Falkor will have taken a rather sharp downturn lately...).
I was wondering whether the various characters would have noticed Ameena's departure - I presume Falkor would have, since he was standing just a little bit over from her when she got kicked in the face and legged it. Haynuus could be excused not noticing due to being in combat, and I'm not sure about Westian since I can't remember exactly what he was dong at the time. Obviously Aurek and Farel don't know her, and Helm had already gone. But bear in mind that since she ran away, Brohur has now gone through the teleporter as well - obviously, Ameena could be anywhere, but also remember who's got torches...and who hasn't. Then again, Ameena ran because she'd panicked, so she could really be anywhere. Even in total darkness she can navigate by use of her whiskers - in a panicked run she'd be rather less able to do this, but if she calmed down she could, in theory, quite easily follow the scent trails back to the starting room. Well, the mummy room - obviously the start room is close off. Not that I can think of any reason why she'd want to go back there, but anyway...

Actually Falkor was throwing a fireball and trying to avoid being beheaded by Passin at the time! Westian would be the one to have noticed if someone would have!

Ahh okay then...well, even if no-one actually saw her run off, the only logical way she can have gone, really, is back through the teleporter, since I imagine someone would have noticed if she'd run through one of the doors because both were blocked at the time, I believe, due to being closed or having people fighting right in front of them.

Actually, she could have gone the way Aurek and Farel entered... though I think Westian will have noted her departure if no-one else!

Oh, I thought that way was blocked by Aurek and Farel themselves fighting right next to that doorway - maybe they'd moved by then. I have been reading the combat, of course, but only really looking at the bits that Ameena would have been paying attention to from her PoV - that is, the stuff going on nearest her. Even then, mostly it was just viewed as the chaos and bloodshed of violent combat. Assuming she does manage to reunite with the others again at some point, I dread to think what will happen if similar events to this arise in future. At the rate it's been going she'll probably have a nervous breakdown or something

Lol, maybe they still were... I've slept since then :p
Actrually, no, what I meant by that was that Ameena oculd have been in the corner, then disappeared when Farel and Aurek moved. Or something.
And lol, maybe we should run Ameena's section as a Call of Cthulu and have her losing sanity
Oh, and as a 'reality' check for everyone, remember the last week of fighting is a thirty second made dashing around of slaughter.

Hehe yeah, I have to keep thinking that - all this stuff has happened fairly quickly, so they probably all only woke up from that sleep about half an hour ago or something (depends how long it took them to walk to this room from the mummy room).
As for Ameena losing sanity...well, I'm not sure I'd say she's losing
thatas such...more her mental stability. Which, I suppose, could be termed as "sanity" anyway. She's certainly taking
some damage from all this anyway...and not the sort that can be cured with a quick swig of a Vi potion.
Meanwhile, I wonder how many more near-death experiences Falkor is gonna get over the next (in-game) five minutes

Ok, there we go, update up (Sans money, as before if you see this tonight and want to post an action for previously, go ahead)
Just to make it clear, until you guys take a break, you are still i nthe same encounter - so Westian and Falkor are currently out of most magic (I think Westian has his 0-level prayers available)
Anyway, kinda tracking initiative still just because of what is going on at the outskirts - once a few thigns have resolved aroudn about the group, it should be fine.
Also, as I perhaps mentioned before, once thigns have settled here (unless you go chasing off after something again), ,there will be a brief 'break' where you lot can take a moment to RP some introductions/catching up/information exchange/reactions/planning
Let me know what everyone's availability is for the weekend aswell!

I try to check regularly during the working day, once at night (last night Beo posted past my bed time - I need LOTS of beauty sleep), and at least once over 'normal' weekends.
I think I'll post racing through the teleporter as he can't actually do much in a fight at the moment anyway! With Ameena he'll surely find the switch to open the door again and so will race to catch up the rest of you. If she's waiting on the other side it'll be a 2 round 'loss', plus probably another to open the door.

Yeah, Haynuus better be careful that Drommal and Brohur aren't waiting each side of the teleporter, swords raised, for any innocent half-orcs to come strolling through

.
I'm sort of looking forward to this reunion of the group - it'll be an interesting thing, RP-wise - knowing what you know so far about the Murafu, just how willing do you think Ameena will be to just get back together all happy and carry on like nothing's happened?

Of course, she's had time enough to get quite a way down the corridor by now, and you won't know which way she went. She could have got really far and then got injured by something and be unable to move. Or she might have, in her panic, got a bit lost and now be having to take time following her own scent trail back to try and figure out where she is. Or maybe she's had a run-in with a Stone Giant or a Dragon or something else random. Or she could have not gone far at all and now be in a spot of trouble with both Brohur and Drommal. Or maybe it's something else - you'll find out eventually, I expect

Should be around at some stage on Saturday, for a while at least. I doubt I will be free on Sunday, so Westian can fade into the background. You can just assume he is show-boating with some outrageous victory dance!

What does NOC mean? And remember that we have not had an IC discussion about where to go, all refs have been OOC. We still have three different people gone three different ways.

Darn it I really want to just jump through the teleporter and back again. What do you think OB?
Edit: Afterwards we can all head to Helm and Farel.
