Tolkien never wanted any of his creations turning into film.
Zyx: excellent! I thought I was missing something here.

Ameena, what movie are you talking about "At the end" 1?

by Ameena
The only film that contains the Patronus charm (so far) - Prisoner of Azkaban of course...you implied that you've seen it. By "at the end" I mean when (SPOILER) he is by the lake with Sirius and they are both being attackedby the Dementors. Harry travels back in time to that moment and makes a Patronus and when it appears it looks like a stag. No explanation for this is given in the film, but in the book it's made clear.

Oh, I didn't know what you meant by Patronus. But I still don't know what you mean by stag.

Lol. The Patronus charm is the silver spell that drives away the Dementors. A stag is a male deer (with antlers). So why does Harry's Patronus look like a stag? The film doesn't say and I'm sure I'd be wondering if I hadn't read the books. A quote from Rafiki comes to mind though (from The Lion King). Still, I'm not saying anything - you have to read the books to find out, haha

I actually like Rusters quite alot. Not because there particularly good or look cool, but because there only 4 in the whole of chaos' dungeon and that adds to their mysteriousness. They must be a dying race or something.

Isn't it the Grey Lord's Dungeon that Chaos took over?

Didn't Chaos build the dungeon after Lord Librasulus split up into Lords Order and Chaos and the Grey Lord...or something...and Theron was the apprentice who is sent by the Grey Lord to recruit the party and sort everything out. Something like that anyway...

Theron is who the Grey Lord sent. It was the Grey Lords Dungeon and then Chaos messed it up when they split

I think ADDF has it right - the dungeon actually belongs to the Grey Lord, and the Tomb of the Firestaff is the level where his laboratory is stored; Theron is his apprentice. Then the terrible catastrophe happens, and the Grey Lord splits up into Lord Chaos and Lord Order. Theron is knocked unconscious. The land surrounding Mount Anaias undergoes horrible changes, and Lord Chaos inhabits the dungeon, perverting it with deadly traps and riddles and infesting it with his horrid monsters. Following that, several heroes enter the dungeon to rid the land of the evil of Lord Chaos, but all fail and become imprisoned in the 24 mirrors in the Hall of Champions. As I understand it, Theron then awakens after a year-long slumber as some kind of ghost. He is approached by Lord Order, who calls himself Librasulus and tells Theron what happened in the meantime. He tells Theron to enter the dungeon and choose 4 of the champions to guide them. The goal is getting the Firestaff back and returning it to Lod Librasulus - and as we all know, doing so is a very bad idea. Only in the lab of the Grey Lord does Theron (and the champions) learn that balance is the ultimate goal - thus, neither Chaos nor Order may have the staff.
Well, at least this is how I understood it.

ah ! thank you Trantor, i like your crystal-clear summary

so you think Theron stays with the champions during all game, is it properly said somewhere or did you deduce it ?

One thing I have to correct: Theron only thought he was sleeping. Lord Librasulus made him forget all the stuff. But the thing I don't understand now that you say the tomb of the firestaff is his labratory(which makes sense) is that why is he out of the dungeon at first.
And Ameena, I started reading Harry Potter last night.

Who knows ADDF? Maybe Chaos was stronger and kicked him out. Maybe he materialized outside the dungeon. I don't think any explanation is given in the manual, and I don't think this is an important part of the story. But interesting question anyways.
I am not sure if Librasulus made Theron forget everything, does it say so in the manual? I really need to look at it again...
As for your question Linflas: I think the manual actually tells of Theron walking through the Hall of Champions, looking at the mirrors and pondering which champions to choose. So, it could be that he just chooses them and sends them off into the dungeon, maybe waiting near the entrance. But who is actually walking the first steps, looking at the mirrors and deciding which champions to choose? Right - the player. So, I'd say that the player himself actually is Theron! He is the one leading the champions through it, and the mouse could actually be Theron speaking - when you click on a lever, it is as if Theron says "Boris, pull that lever!" So yes, my interpretation is that Theron's ghost is with the champions at all times. You could even go one step further and think of the champions as brainless Zombie-like creatures, only led by Theron's mind who makes them do what they do. But I think this goes a bit far, and I'll settle on the idea that Theron does accompany the heroes as some sort of ghost, giving orders and advice (and is represented by the player in the game).
And thanks a lot for liking my summary Linflas.

I think it's pretty obvious that the player *is* Theron, and that he's incorporeal and can influence the champions. The Grey Lord says to him "They will not see you, but your influence and knowledge will guide them through the Dungeon and to the Firestaff." You can't get more specific than that! Where's the discussion? Re-read the manual!

What i meant by Chaos' dungeon is that it belongs to chaos when your playing the game.
Also I've always liked the Animated Armour. What a cool concept, even if the Bastards are immune to magic.

For peope who haven't re-read the manual - Theron went to the village to see his girlfriend, but the grey lord told him about freeing the power gem just as he was teleporting, but then made him forget.
Through whatever reasons that weren't explianed, Theron was too linked to the Grey Lord so that when the accident hit, Theron was woken up and also sundered aswell, and it took him a year, even though he didn't realise it, to come back to the plane as a 'ghost'.
