As for the others:
CS: obviously a karate game, but there were dozens of those. Can't comment on blue faces because I only had a black-and-white monitor (actually a small TV - first Soviet "Junost" and later Czechoslovak "Merkur") for my Atari. A big colour TV (Czechoslovak "Tesla") was only allowed on some Sundays.
Saumun: this game seems too "modern" for me.
Ameena: no problem, continue with the quotes. Frankly, I'd never known how to upload images and never worked with Photobucket, but I was surprised how easy it is - takes me half a minute to get the image from Google to here.
Talking about oldies-but-goldies - how about this:

Damn, you're right again! Back then we used to pronounce it with "K" in the middle, very much like "Brooklyn".

Yeah, it actually is one or two years beyond my range.
But surely you won't recognise this:

Hmmm... First instinct was a conversion of
Pole Position
from the bottom pic, but i don't remember the pit-stop screen so maybe not.
Terkio got mine. It is indeed
Age of Empires
.
Since Jan mentioned a game that was special in his childhood, i'll give one of mine... Try this one:

Hmmm... I've played a couple of isometric games but I can't remember if this is one of them. And no, my screenshot was not from Pole Position, although you got pretty close to the title in the second part of your reply.
Sigh. I wish I could guess at least one game here. One little, little small game.
Looks like my scope was pretty limited when I was a kid - I guess I should have spent more time in my room alone behind a computer screen when I was young, instead of playing football, hiking in the highland, drinking beer and chasing local girls.

Don't know if these clues will help...
Released in the mid 80s, and the sequel caused a stir as it was released in it's beta state (against the programmer's wishes) that had a bug that meant the game couldn't be completed.

Bahh, lol, every time I check the forums I always seem to have missed all the ones I knew (would have got
Age of Empires
) and am only left with ones I have no idea about.

Well, it looks like some kind of fighty game, of which there have been many. It doesn't look like one of the few I've played so I'll guess at
Mortal Kombat
?

Fraid not! Not as popular as MK or SF2, but you controlled a group of three fighters in this. Mid 90s coin-op. Don't think it made it to any computers or consoles but i could be wrong.

Saumun's has that SNK look to it so I'll guess it was some
King of Fighters
game but I don't know which one.
(If so, then it was on Neo Geo, so it did get a console release, just not for people who didn't have stupid amounts of disposable income)

Sorry Jan, never heard of it
. Saumun's I don't recognise as I've maybe playde two FPSs ever (both the first Doom games) and it's neither of those. So I'll guess at it being either a
Quake
or a
Duke Nukem
game because off the top of my head I can't think of any others
.

Never heard of
The Incredible Machine
.
I feel like i really should know CS'... but i don't. Used to love those 8-bit platformers.
Mine is not
Duke Nukem
, or any of the
Quake
games... but is very similar (as you can obviously see). It was released in 1998.

Hmm, well, I just remembered the name of one more FPS -
Rise of the Triad
, which I can recall seeing my dad playing at one point but don't think I ever tried myself.

It is
Blood 2: The Chosen

Still don't know CS' game.
The only platformers i remember with that type of theme are
Rick Dangerous
(which this screenshot definitely isn't), and
Montezuma's Revenge
(great name
) which i remember as being more colourful than this... So i'm still in the dark!
