2 great deliveries in one week that I just have to post,

First off, Claire (my wife) and I are expecting our first child - been for a 12week scan Monday and can see heartbeat and arms etc... We had a mis-carriage last December so to get this far is just awesome

Then today my Windows 7 Party pack just arrived.... no-doubt plenty of hours of fun inside the box

A great week (at home) given work is not great at the moment!

Great news! Congratulations! If it is a boy call him Falkor! If it is a girl call her Falkor!

My/our, first baby (girl) is due in about 5wks, about 5wks because the doctors here seem to keep changing their minds, my wife is currently aiming for sooner rather than later.

Thank you all...I think I mentioned expecting a baby in 'So, tell us about yourself...' thread but that was so long ago.

Money, if there is anything you wanted to know, I'm no expert, but we have brought and researched a lot of stuff.

I don't think the doctors really have a lot of say in the matter Baby will come when she/he decides!

True, but if my wife had any say in it, it will be sooner rather than latter.

From anecdotal evidence, if your wife decides to start doing any DIY jobs or other strenuous and energetic tasks, it seems to indicate the baby is due any moment!

And lol, yeah, we do read the tell us about yourself threads, and try to remember it all, but darn it we've slept since then (that's our work excuse for forgetting anything said to us the previous day. It sorta works as a joke if it was earlier that day too)

She does seem to have more energy recently, restless/bored energy, needing to make sure everything is done.

Yes, I think it is if she was the one putting the feathers on the nest, but in this case she is overseeing the feathering, and the male is putting down the feathers. Does that still make it brooding?
