Well, your edit isn't much better! I think you're all trying to be too clever and it ain't half as natural as it was last year.
Start just using normal words please people and forget about clever punctuation, it's making it much harder for those who aren't as fluent in English.

Aww, you forget how long the thread went on for last year - there was room for the occasional clever bit of stupidity! I also forgot the difference between normal working days and holidays/weekends in terms of speed!
