Happy Birthday dayday2008! I really mean no offense by this... but, I couldn't believe your age (83). You'd have to be in the running for "the oldest member" award. I must say that I'm really surprised & impressed, because you'd have been 58-60 when DM came out, and yet (unlike other people that age) you seem to have kept up with things. Well done!

Sorry Gambit, I don't check the bottom of the board index frequently, so it is easy for birthdays to slip by me. August was very quiet on the forums, so that could explain it - the eagle-eyed were off sunning themselves on a beach somewhere. Still, belated happy birthday!

It's Marmaris on the south coast. Two weeks of relaxing doing nothing, and day trips to various interetsing places. Should be very agreeable

Don't forget to visit the Rhodes Island then. IMNSHO, it's one of the most beautiful and pleasant places in the Med. The easiest way, I guess, is simply a ferry directly from Marmari to Rhodes.
