Lol so, pretty similar to Ameena then ;). Though Ameena in uncertain about Reason because it doesn't smell of anything, which makes her a little nervous about it.

Westian will ultimately accept any choice since he just wants to move forward. But he would go for Truth in preference, followed by Reason then Light.

So it sounds like the votes that have been cast are mostly for truth (even if reluctantly). Haynuus would vote reason, but will go with truth, and Helm will go with Ameena's suggestion, though is basically scared. Deephold I am sure will be swayed, and I'm sure the Trolin vote can be pulled in to line since they were all over the place :)

So unless Money and LB weigh in with an overwhelming pull anywhere else, I guess you guys are sticking together and doing the Path fo Truth! How bad could this be.

I'll start a post, and have it done before I go off to bed then :)

Oh, and because I am stupid, I forgot to emtnion that I have a birthday thingie out of town at the start of next week. I will be gone from Sunday at some point, and won't be back until Tuesday evening. Sorry for the disruption!

Lol, not that sort of birthday celebration :)

And my internet was 'phut' this morning. HOpefully it's worked itself out by now, but being the weekend right before I disappear, if I suddenly drop off the world for the next four days you'll know why!

Actually, this is the first time the internet has gone phut (second time really, but the first time was my phone providers fault, and a weird break in the line in my building!)

So yeah, off home to have it diagnosed, but I might be dark until Tuesday evening now :(

Anyway, gives you guys some time to come up with ideas, and also react to starting to hear everyone else's thoughts. And lol, see, told you that Petal's fun secrets were not quite safe yet. Have faith in your DM to find evil unexpected ways to get you when you think you are safe :D

With regard to getting out of there, the carving on the wall said something about being separate and that it's a weakness but also a strength, and that reason is a "bridge to wherever you want to go", or words to that effect. So I reckon if some kind of logical thought can be managed, and somehow people can manage to think of themselves as individuals again and come up with reasons for why they want to move on, or maybe just reasons as to why they're an individual (and not just one conjoined mass as we seem to all have become, at least mentally), maybe that will work. Of course, we know Dolo's in the area somewhere so our current mental state is a really bad one to be in 'cause chances are he's watching all this, the slimy bastard :P.
I sort of feel like I "failed" at the whole "darkest secret" thing because murafu don't have dark secrets. Or even any kind of secrets - they're happy to tell people anything they want to know. Of course, if a friend has specifically asked a murafu not to reveal something, then they probably won't (unless they think it's some kind of life-or-death situation that can be helped by them revealing it, or whatever), because then the friend would be understandably upset with them and that would therefore damage the friendship. Ameena has plenty of worries and fears right now, but no particular secrets that it might be a shock to reveal. I suppose the only way that could happen would be if another character had, in the past, told her something private and asked her not to tell anyone. That's about it, though ;).

I mentioned to Ian in another thread somewhere - the site moved to a new host today so the address will display differently till Cows updates the erm...thingy that needs updating. Didn't affect my bookmarks at all - I till got redirected here. Site was running a bit slowly earlier while stuff updated and I had to log in the first time I visited today (normally I auto-log in 'cause I have that setting turned on), but other than that and the address displaying differently I wouldn't have actually noticed :).

S'ok. I still reek like cordite from setting off 140$ worth of fireworks with my best friend for the 4th. They arent *technically* legal in Seattle, but since theres so many native reservations around here where they are legal and they sell them, the cops really cant stop them and dont really care outside of the yuppie districts and downtown, and since I live in a tiny (1600 people) residental district in the middle of a giant industrial district about 3 miles south of downtown that is seen as ghetto by the yuppies (its full of immigrants, artists, punks, and tattooed freaks like me), the cops REALLY dont care down here and my neighborhood looked like a war-zone. It was so much fun!

Except for this one thing I got was a square box that was supposed to shoot 9 colored balls out of it. The first 2 went up ok, but the third blew out of the side of it and went right under my best friend's chair where he was sitting, then the force of it knocked the device over and it started shooting the rest of the balls at this garage across the alley where we were. They were going *thunk* ssssss! *thunk* sssssssssss! It was really funny. Woulda sucked if it was something explosive, but these were just little colored fireballs like a roman candle that went out after a few seconds. That was the only mishap. Fireworks have gotten way safer since I was a kid.

Lol, glad no one was hurt!

Good news: BT found the fault, it's not in the building, so it will get fixed without me involed.
BAd news: worst case fix won't be done until the 11th, more likely the end of the week :(

So that sucks!

Edit: Woah, you think Gholst is the bad guy and Theron the good guy? Huh, shame to fail while I'm away! :D

Bad news: Coming home from work BT had left a message saying they couldn't come to my house until the 12th.
Good news: BT don't know what they are doing, ot yhe house visit is some side thingie, but my net works again!

So weeeeeeeeeeeee

Too late for me to really want to do anything tonight, will catch up with it all tomorrow.

@Ameena: I don't really want to be stuck at a computer from morning til night tomorrow, so don't wanna D&D session tomorrow. See what Sunday's like, although I have to do work at some point so might not be in the mood. Will see.

Still weird to have net. In a way I'm sad, it was nice to be able to come home and just veg out instantly. But it's nicer to be able to do creative stuff, so it's all good.

Woohoo, so get back in to it and kick us off tomorrow ready for Ian to be back and OB to be around on Monday :)

OK, just posted Haynuus' will check in the other thread, will spend tomorrow formulating a plan as to how to get out... Ideas anyone?

Haynuus was thinking of stabbing himself :) Bringing his mind back to his own body.

Lol such a typical Haynuus thought to anything ;). Ameena's a bit swamped at the rush of information so she's trying to focus on one thing at a time and break it up that way. Since she doesn't have any "dark secrets" to hide, I figured the Will save can go toward her trying to extricate her mind from everyone else's, or something. The nearest she has to a dark secret is the dark memory she has of meeting Chaos and why that now causes her right foreleg to hurt, but that's already come out. I think it's probably gonna be someone else that gets us out of this - maybe Westy, who apparently might be getting somewhere along the right lines. Obviously if thinking of untrue things is the way to escape, there is no way Ameena will ever stand a chance ;).

Yeah, that was also my sneaky plan, was to have the will save also count to the success of your actions, or how much extra hintage you might get. Though really I've just set up the situation, so while there is a way to solve the puzzle as set up by the grey lord, it's by no means the only way.

Your net went down, my comp went down. Its all good. :) However it looks like everythings back to normal. (Thank god for friends with like 5 towers in various stages of repair missing various components who can always find you something that will get you up and running. OMG DUAL CORES ARE SOOOOO SLOW!)

Hm. maybe I'll upload pics of my tats, just for you Ian. I have a full sleeve on my left arm and um....4 others on my right arm. Ive been contemplating getting the runes for MON OH KAH RA or MON FUL IR down the inside of my right wrist for oh, about 5 years now... Havent gotten around to it. I need a 'proud gamer' tat.

Didn't have time for a full post but have been thinking about it. Westian is not a big fan of the giant crack that is chasing them, so he might stop that line of thought.

But if we can see/know everything, can we use that to our advantage? If we know everything we might know how to get past this corridor, or how to separate. Just a thought.

For the will save I got 17, that is 25 (+8) unless it is an enchantment, in which case it is 27 (+10).
