Never seen Hancock...

That is one of the Men in Black movies. I'm not 100% which one, but i think it's the first.

It's not the Nightmare Before Christmas...unfortunately, "Jack" is about the commonest character name ever so it's not really a help in narrowing this one down, lol. That said, I don't recognise the quote anyway, so...

Dammit, thought of 'Speed', 'Fisher King' AND '12 Monkeys' for the 'Jack' - ah well, can only think of Dennis Hopper now... is it 'Blue Velvet'? If not, then time for me to just Google everything ... damn my physical memory. :)

Not Blue Velvet but for sort of a loose clue, i have carried on the 'Jack' theme.
Not much of a clue since (as Ameena pointed out) there is a huge number of 'Jack' characters in movies, but i did say it was only a loose one.
