I'll just need to know how many skills points to chuck at myself, the max ranks, I've sorta forgotten some stuffs there

Your skill points gained are 2 + your intelligence bonus, and your maximum ranks are (3+level) for class skills, or (3+level)/2 for cross class skills. Which would mean 8 and 4 respectively

1) Level-lol-ing up:
TO DO!
2) I think that you were kind to us in on few counts:
A) You let us know that we weren't destroying these things, we were shifting their body parts around. Unsubtle hints abounded

B) You let us know that it were the religious types that caused the problem in the first place. Maybe this was the plan anyway, however. Not a criticism.
C) The end scene where the critters all suddenly converged on the golems instead of fighting the party all the way back to the doorway - you should have been harder on us? I'd have taken a free attack from them to have gotten out anyway.
Z) We didn't really organise ourselves to attempt the alcove/pressure plate idea. Although to be honest Falkor rolled so high with his attempt at the door that it didn't matter

If you would have FORCED us to have used the trick to open the door though it would have been much harder, that's for sure. The forum is a difficult medium to bounce quick ideas around, tbh.
Y) I kinda like the simplicity of Haynuus tbh. No messin' about with psychological or philosophical issues for now

I realise that this is 'roleplay', yet the puzzles and rushing to the aid of yer mates is fun for me. Especially as you've bent the whole thing around the DM universe.
X) As for the teamwork, it was fine. Keeping away the nasties from the people trying to get the door open. Would have been more testing if we had to use another method to get the door open though!
W) I enjoyed the encounter. Brighteyes adds some sauce to it all, doesn't he!
3) Screamers. Just a slice of one would do.

And you were the one who posted the 1,000th reply!!! I am sure beo has some prize ready for you!
Everyone's characters are starting to develop...I am still not sure what Falkor was planning to do, maybe Ameena was right to be suspicious of you! (only joking Money, after all you did open the door

).
As for Ameena, who knows where she is? She has not leveled up to level 5 yet, I had a sneaky peak at the character sheets (player knowledge only of course!)
As for the fight, I think we did ok, just a few scratches here and there. I need more time to have a read over the fight and analyse the performance...kinda like our half-time talk! Also need more time to level up, and plan what wonderful wish I will make! Thank you beo!

None of you have levelled up yet, not jjust Ameena - she could just be really slow!
And yeah, good time to have a break then... sorry if my long prose is again not quite comprehensible in parts! Hope it all comes together as you read it.

Who's to say I haven't dinged and just forgotten to update the character sheet?

Then again, who's to say my little murafu hasn't escaped or died already?
And if she
has done either of those things, where is my re-rolled character?

Could be any of those reasons, but now we all all be watching that character sheet very closely (joking

)
Just levelling up...beo, are we free to choose any class we want? I think I will go for cleric again, but I was tempted to get a wizard level for a bit of a change. Maybe next time.

At the moment I'm only letting you level up with what you used... I think Westian was the consumate cleric, certainly didn't do anything wizardy! Even Falkor was using wizard skills instead of rogue skills for the door.
We can be more flexible if everyone would like to be able to pick whatever they want each level, for the moment I offer the choice if you stretched yourself into other areas.

I've levelled up Aurek. I added a point to Concentration & Heal, and got myself 3 new languages... gonna be fun trying to write them in
Is there anything else that I need to add (feats, etc.)

No feats until level 6 I'm afraid, though you do get a second use of smite. Infact, I don't think you've incorporated any of your class table yet - remember you get an extra +1 to melee and ranged attacks, and extra hit points.
Your turning bonus is only +5 - you are effectively a level 2 cleric (you cleric level is your paladin level -3) and so gets a +1 turning bonus for level to intimidate.
In a normal game gaining languages quickly would be a little OOC, but luckily in this one you may have realised you are basically 'recovering' levels you probably had previously. Hence if anyone wanted more flexibility in their class choice, it could probably be handwaved a little. Once you have a quiet moment, you can decided if you want to look back over the scrolls you previously recovered.
To everyone, technically the levelling up will occur once you take stock of your situation, either in the fountain room of the rat level, or in Seeroc's room, wherever you first get to go 'whew' and thing on your next move.

I've got the formula for turn-undead on my character sheet (under class abilities), where is it wrong? :S
As for gaining an +1 bonus to attack and such, I don't get anything this level... Says so right
here. And what die was it for HP again? Been a while since I leveled him up

Original:
Melee bonus: +8
Range bonus: +3
Survival: +2
HP: 42
New:
Melee bonus: +9
Range bonus: +5 We must have missed one?
His base attack is now +5 right?
Survival: +3
Feat: Improved Initiative Not sure what else would have been appropriate. I would have liked Two-Weapon Fighting (with the idea of then getting Monkey Grip) but you need a Dex of 15+ for that!
HP: 42 +
1d10.minroll(8)+1=10 "fighters then are allowed to round up to a minimum of 8 hit point"... Excluding Con bonus
==
52

@LB Yup, on the chart your base attack bonus for level 4 is +4, and for 5th level is +5 - so your melee and ranged go up +1
Your hit die is d10, min roll 8,
Your turn undead formula, in say excel, would be int((level-3)/2)+cha bonus+if(know(religeon)==5,+2,+0). Ie half your clerical level rounded down (which is paladin level -3), + charisma bonus of 2, + 2 if you have 5 ranks in knowledge religeon.
@ian: Yeah, I think I spotted the dropped point for your ranged bonus, luckily youi've not thrown anything that mattered this level
You don't gain a feat this level, it's next level - at which time, you gain two
Anyway, lookin' good otherwise.

Ah ha. I assumed he got a feat every level.

Lol, no, just every second level....I'm sure the paladin with no bonus fighter feats, the cleric with no bonus feats at all, and the mage with one bonus feat every five levels feel your pain. Oh, wait :p

Does the +6 base attack mean that I FINALLY get my second attack per round? And I've updated my character sheet.

Also I'd accidentally read the "fort save" column instead of "base attack". LOL

Yeah, 5th level seems to just suck for save progression since they either use half level or 2/3 level, and 4-> 5 is a dead spot to both!
Sadly, you need a +6
base attack bonus - ie the table itself has to say +6/+1 to get it. You'll get it next levelling up. Combined with the extra feat 6th level should rock for you and Haynuus

You also get the ability to remove a disease...remind me to throw worse mummies at you...

Ok, that was weird, between the time I went to the forum front, and the time I came here to stay something, money posted a post. Woot!
Anyway, just a reminder that I am away all day (impressed I snuck in an update though previously) and then we are back on track. So get all your wonderful reactions to Brighteyes and desires for moving on out of your system today, and I'll see if I can update first thing tomorrow or at lunchtime tomorrow.
I managed to get a rambling set of thoughts about the ideas behind the golemhall fight so I'll post that, and of course I have Ian's thoughts on it to reply to tomorrow too - if anyone has anything else to add, now would be a good time

Seems like Westian and Falkor tentatively agreed with the suggestion, Haynuus has not said either way. So up to you guys, I would suggest getting a breather in the rat room, but of course especially with current possible suspicions, you guys might decide to forego that.
Up to you lot
Next update won't be until as late as you need it tomorrow or first thing Wednesday, so hopefully that fits in with scary busy life!

@Ian - whether the two Brighteyes are the same, or I just like echo of it, you'll have to see, won't you
@LB - lol, what's the 'us', only one person yanked the gnome around. Ok, two including Haynuus. Oh wait, there was that time Westian yanked the gnome around...
Wow, the only lanky bugger that didn't yank him around is Farel! I hope that's not a bad sign
