This is such an awesome idea! Moving Platforms -- interconnected high speed trains that you board while moving, not at stations:

That sounds pretty cool...though I presume the "lesser" trains do actually stop, otherwise you'd never be able to get on or off the transportation system in the first place ;).

excellent series, very interesting stuff in there.
Part 3 is about concepts of remix with the example of Apple.

Very cool fun card game thingy where you can build a deck and kick the whatever out of the opponent :D

http://www.elementsthegame.com/

Once you've chosen an Element to start with, click the "Quests" button (in the blue box, bottom-right) to start the sort of tutorial thingy. It's a simple enough game to pick up the basics but you can still completely get your arse kicked if you come up against an opponent with Evil Bastard cards :P. You can also play PvP, against a random opponent or against a specific user (in the latter case you get no reward for winning).
It's sort of like Arcomage, but with more stuff in it ;).

I found this rather strange version of Dungeon Master's Wikipedia page:
http://wikien4.appspot.com/wiki/Dungeon ... ideo_game)

It's the Elmer Fudd version of Wikipedia: All the letter 'L' have been replaced with 'W' and all "the" replaced with "de". Sort of amusing for a little while...

I clicked on your link Gambit37 and got this:
Status: 200 OK Content-Type: text/html; charset=utf-8 Cache-Control: no-cache Expires: Fri, 01 Jan 1990 00:00:00 GMT Content-Length: 0

Have no idea why the link won't work or what the message means.

You have to add ")" at the end of the link. So the correct link is: http://wikien4.appspot.com/wiki/Dungeon ... eo_game%29

Meh. Apparently she's never had to carry 10 keys and 12 coins in 4 large heavy wooden chests. She would consider the meaning of the word "mobility" more wisely. Amateurishness.

I've tried it, there are nice strategies. Some people are cheating, though.

How so? Do you mean in PvP games? There is a bug where it can look like someone is cheating if you get a desynchronisation error and all sorts of weird stuff happens. Apparently the PvP feature is fairly recent and they haven't fully ironed out all the glitches yet. If someone actually properly cheats, other people find out and the cheater's account gets banned.
After quite a bit of messing around with different card combinations within two particular elements, I've sort of got together a deck I'm pretty happy with right now - it wins fairly often, though sometimes I do still get totally thrashed - sometimes it's just the luck of the cards. I don't play PvP very much - normally stick to Level 3 or Top 50. I've got about three cards upgraded now, and working on earning more money to get more done. Been selling any non-rare cards I win, and keeping rares just because they're rare :D.
Of the decks I've played against which have kicked my arse, I might try and build a similar deck at some point, maybe when I win more rare cards that I think I can put to good use, and so on :).

the blinking dr. profiles are annoying, and they go off the side of the screen and I've got my computer res set pretty high. the map itself is neat though..

I don't see anything blinking...weird. If you mouse over some of the creature names it shows you a picture of them though :). I just thought the whole thing was really cool and I wonder how long it took for the maker to come up with it and put it together and stuff...

In Chrome browser, if you hover over any of the Doctors, their panel flickers on and off (ie, doesn't work!) Even if you switch to a non-flicker browser such as Firefox, you can't properly navigate the Doctor panels with the mouse, because they vanish when you move your mouse to the scroll bar (even if you used S to stick them in place). You can use the keyboard arrows to scroll left/right, but the whole thing is an interaction/accessibility failure.

Props to the designer for the map itself, but they really let themselves down on the interactive execution.

Of course I understand it - it's a scan of a DM not-so-serious retro-review in Czech language on a Slovak website. Christophe has got a copy on his site (http://dmweb.free.fr/?q=node/890). It doesn't say anything we wouldn't know (except for which high school did the author of the review attend  ). I hope you don't want me to translate it word-by-word?

This is part 1 of a fascinating 90min.-movie - couldn't find the full one in english language - that one has music only.
Hope you can find the other parts.

Here is a link to a full german version:

After that, eat this:

Would be fine if someone could add a link for an english version too.
