? I can't check because the table is beyond the pit now.

It can - it is related to the magic seeds.
I have lost my bloody dagger! I cannot solve the the pit and lever puzzle either. Like thwe above, shoved the table over. My guess is you put a seed at the bottom of the pit - but I have no seeds left!

EDIT: Speaking of seeds: in the priest guild, there are at least two places where the sound is different if you sow them. But I couldn't see any triggered effect. (I'm not talking about the
vi
rune place)

Found the clover.
Bug with the seeds: you can drop them and pick them up quickly: the tile will count as seeded.
Other loose ends:
14) The cursed bones
7 g) 3 rune keys needed
EDIT: rolled back to a previous savegame, got the pickaxe.

like i told yet, to push the table
into the pit dont work cause the table "fly" over the pit
i also testing a savegame cause at the old one i crashed all the barrels standing there, but their cant be pushed or pulled
at one of the rooms before, where the 2 library-wand tiles are, the lamp
could switched...but dont know what this switch does

i dont found the
clover yet..where is it, and where are the pickaxe? could u get the green,blue and red gems from the cove with it, or what is it for?
edit2 "no magic needed" solved:
push the
table over the pit, go upstairs out of the house top the pit in order to descend there with the rope and u could pass
does somebody know how to kill the "black flame" at the cave?
and, in this area are to 2pillars:
one have a pit behind, and one a breakable wall...does somebody know how to break those pillars?

what about the "cursed bones" and the scroll...how should i save his soul

I finally got around to starting v2 -- and after a few hours playing I've just realised it's 6am!!!! I was supposed to have an early night!!! This game is addictive
I'm not very far yet, basically have got back to where I was on v1. Haven't done any guilds yet, I'm stuck on a few things:
1) Can't find a spellbook
2) Can't do the first Thief test, just get dropped down the pit immediately
3) I got into the sewers but seem to be locked in with no way forward or back out. Can't find anything to do in here -- I can't seem to switch the electricity off?

Hi Gambit,
1 - Keep on looking - it's being kept safe by someone (as the scroll reads in the cemetary)
3 - Keep searching for a way to drain the water - there is most likely a place you havn't been yet

Correct, thanks Zyx. The problem was a delay when you dropped the seeds, I had added to make the growth more realistic.

area with a lot of wet tiles and grass

Gambit: maybe I read in a your old post that you don't really like
the fake walls
in a dungeon... Is it correct?

@Money: Ah, the old illusory wall trick -- I always forget to look for those! Thanks. As for the spellbook -- I know who has it, but I simply can't find him! Have I missed a tomb somewhere? Pretty sure I've been in all of them, and also checked them for secret passages. Couldn't find anything.

@Zyx: Indeed, I've been looking for another way in! Can't find one.
Some other questions:
1) The room with the "rain worms" in has a
movable cauldron and pit which you can push the cauldron down and it turns to rust
. Is there any purpose to this?
2) I went back to the very dark room at the start of the game
with the mummies and rockpiles and found a mace. In that room is a gate -- I couldn't find a way to open it -- is it a deadend
?
3) What's the purpose of mirrors with chests in --
I realise it's to do with finding extra bonuses, but does it mean the treasure is actually close by, or that the puzzle to solve the teasure is close by and the treasure is actually somewhere else
? I solved the
Heavy Key
one, but haven't been able to solve any others.

When you see a mirror with a chest,
near there is a treasure room or the puzzle to solve it.
Mummies and mace: it was a dead end in the 1.0 version.
Look for
the biggest tomb.

I know I was a bit critical of v1.0, but since starting with v2.0 and getting into it, I realise this really is a masterpiece dungeon. Very, very, very clever and rewarding so far, and I've barely started! I don't think I'd ever be able to come up with something this good from a gameplay point of view -- you have so many amazing things that the player can do. Fantastic!!!!

I'm just sad I can't keep playing with v1.0, going to be crippled with water loss before solving the mage guild.
Oh well, Adamski did say to use 2.0. and use 2.0 I absolutely shall!

Gambit, find a roundabout to deactivate the security pit before entering through the front door. (Just a few steps away).

You can complete the puzzle by dropping in the pit and being quick with the guards. But there is a simpler way.

@Adamski: I don't mind fake walls -- It's just that I often forget to check for them.
However, I think that sometimes fake walls aren't appropriate for core puzzles (why would a
sewer valve be hidden behind an illusion?
) -- I think illusion walls are best when used for optional parts of a dungeon, or when they lead to bonuses, etc.

Houston, we have a problem!
Total freeze of the game - happened twice now in the dragon cavern when looking for gems. Seems to have been next to the haze of the two transporters. RTC resource shot to 95% plus, nothing I could do but shut the programme down.

With the 1.0 you were a strict judge, I think now you are strict with yourself.
why would
a sewer valve be hidden behind an illusion?
And above all, why did somebody build the sewers without a city above? There are a lot of illogical and stupid things:
Why the shops? Is the tower a touristic place?
(there are shops even inside the tower!)
Who has hidden the runes and why?
Why the guild are tidy? They are abandoned and should be messy; nevertheless everything is in its correct place, the doors are closed, locked or unbroken (guild of warriors).
I could continue...
Beowuuf, if you can download the 2.0 and play with it; the main reason is that I've removed many useless items and it is more stable. My early versions (before the 1.0) had crashes at the end because... (I can't say what happens

)

PaulH, I think in the 2.0 is not possible anymore, the guards are harder.
About the freeze, I'm sorry... maybe it depends on the huge number of objects in the 1.0
try to eat everything you can ans use all your money; if you can, don't kill the monster that release more than 1 object; kill the other ones.

I remember that with DMute you could edit the savegames... if it were possible also with RTC, there would be a solution: removing items from the game.

It freezes when objects are not being released, just seemingly random this last time. Plus I had just been around and ate about 6 drumsticks on the floor!
