So... Has Haynuus lifted the Gnome onto the table? I want to be ready that if he has, and if the Gnome suddenly comes back to life I will use the Magical box - then get the mage into the blue Haze area. Either Ameena has time travelled or her memory has come back a lot clearer because i've no idea what she is talking about :o

Also - can i still communicate with the Scorpian? and If i use a fireball and communicate is that ok for one turn - is the communicate with creature an action or just normal talking?

Yes, despite Falkor's reservations he has indeed lifted the corpse onto the table. Feel free to ready an action - good idea!

Apparently so, unless you guys do it first in the previous round. In which case, I guess Haynuus will be at the other side of the table with a free standard action he can ready.

Either way, Falkor could ready the magical box to use this round if Seeroc comes back to life. However, that would be his standard action done. It would be up to Haynuus to move the gnome (neither you nor Ameena are tall enough to grab the gnome again without effort - you are basically lifting the gnome pretty high to roll him onto there in the first place.

Also note that the blue box is a little bit tricker than the green box because it's less powerful/complex. (Sorry, running out to work so this will be rushed ) - Falkor would know this. One round of pause, but it affects everyone not in Falkor's immediate area when he opens it. Ameena is probably fine, but unless Haynuus huddles close, he'd be hit, as would the scorpion and Aurek.

Until this encounter is over - or five minutes pass - you can talk to the scoprion (and despite the length of time, this has only been a minute and a bit of frantic action!)

Communicating with the creature is a free action. However, just cause you can talk to it doens't mean it trusts you :p

And lol, I have no comment about anything Ameena is saying right now ... Falkor is free (as is his player) to suspect anything he likes :D

Money, ian - if Falkor believes Ameena, then the gnome goes ont other table last round, leaving Haynuus completely free this round, if he doens't, then Haynuus's actions stand I guess

Gah, getting late...must leave!

Falkor doesn't, it's not that he doesn't trust her, but he was clear that he wouldn't help untill he was sure! So Haynuus has done the groundwork... onto the next task in hand!

Blue box against Seeroc, I'm guessing!

Oh, by the way money you have ran out of 3rd leve lfireballs. You get one naturally (killed Seeroc with it), and you get to boost one of your second level fireballs to third level with your school choice (first grak-grak fireball). So this one is only a 2nd level, Im afraid - and your last 2nd level spell!

The good news is that your first two dice rolls were 3 and 4, so all you've lost is two points of damage (your last rolled 1 and the extra 1 force damage for a third leel fireball)

And for those playing the home game....umm, actually, jsut for those playing the game, note this was the 13th round - and the 4th round of freeze life. You guys got away with it. Will you get away with another round of frozen grak-graks without blue box intervention?

Don't worry, you're close enough a level 1 fireball will still do some damage. And she's unarmed, so no AoO!

Oh, and not to spoil anything, but if you actually survive this room well enough, you'll get new spells :) Fireball and light must be getting a little boring by now!

right - my theory is... 1. use the blue box, 2. Haynuus throws the Gnome into the blue haze where the grak graks are waiting, 3. I talk to the scorpian again and 4. we get Westian on that table ASAP.... 5. Rat drumsticks all round?!?

I like that as a plan.

Can I amend 5 to be 'work out how to make the table work on Westian', THEN 6 = rat drunksticks (cooked) followed by 7. Profit.

Hmm, must have missed a pasted section.... I notepad all your sections first, and write based on what you've done. Easier that way to have it in one place! :)

Just rez Westian? Aaawww, that's not very nice - what about poor Farel? :(
And is Falkor really going to try and nuke the "rat" without finding out, for sure, her identity? Imagine the guilt if he gets it wrong (not that he'd know either way, I suppose...) ;).

Anyway, as a poor tired/bewildered/mind controlled Ameena/duplicate saves/endangers the party, I guess that's my cue to laugh and leave.

Will try to post an update at lunchtime. At the very least, you guys can indeed freeze Seeroc and shove him into the blue haze this turn. And also, sicne you guys have used the blue box, you can be assured the grak graks (and the scoprion) are now frozen. Also, Aurek, which I'm sure will mean LB will choose this round to come back!

However....

...what will happen next round?

Hopefully something good. Hopefully something exciting. Hopefully something involving strawberreies - because, why not?

Anyway, given the frozen status of everyone this round except Ameena, Haynuus and Falkor, feel free to carry on past round 14 this weekend into round 15 you guys. Hopefully Westian's action (bleeding a little and lying still) can be handled in a PM and aren't as time dependant so we can skip some time there. :p

Later!

Heh yeah, poor Ardur...whatever the hell happened to him...after being trapped so long in Soorec's place having who knows what kind of horrible stuff done to him, and then you lot come along and kick off one big fight with fireballs and grak-graks all over the place ;). And his master has been ganked. Not a good day for him, I'm sure ;).

Ardur is pretty static at the moment.... Oh blimey, he's only on 11 hit points! Didn't see that. Poor Aurek :|
Well Falkor has all his health so I'm sure he can talk Ameena out of doing anything horrible... We can still lose this one easily I've just realised, if either the Grak-Grak or Ameena decided.

You talking about Ardur or Aurek? Lol you used both names there. Ardur is Farel's squire who buggered off shortly after the combat started (once he'd been freed from the other side of the haze) and disappeared through the same doorway the rest of the group entered by. Aurek is our brave and mighty paladinic crusader who hasn't done much this comabt owing to LB being away or without Internet or something :(.

Yeah, he took some damage at the start of the fight from grak-grak/party interaction, and a bunch of damage from insane grak-grak attacks recently. Good thing you stopped the grak-graks, I only like dropped OB's characters in his absence!

And yes, the thing about Falkor, the important thing to remember about Falkor - Falkor's a squishy mage. He might have full health, but it barely rivals your damage!

Ugh, priorities for Haynuus.

1. Defend button (now preferred by me)
2. Throw the cleric onto the altar - Even if he comes back with 1HP he'd be 'useful' :P
3. Smack Ameena or someone... Anyone really - Haynuus is on a roll.
4. Throw a grak grak (alive) onto the VI altar.

Suggestions?

wow, what is it with you people- first you just go 'yeah, hey ameena' to the mysteriously appearing murafu, and now you wanna kill her!

Plus, I like how you guys with your low tens hit points think locking Seerc behind a haze with two grak-graks he controls again means you don't have to worry about him anymore...

Hey, maybe the 2 grak-grak's tear the gnome apart. You never know - once you've broken a spell (i.e. you DIE), you have to recast it to set it all up again!
