A staff, The Inquisitor, or a vorpal blade would also work.

Man, that brings back memories!!!
My first graphics art program was DPaint2 for my old Amiga. I spent hours on end playing around with that program.

Haha, that's so cool!
I am really impressed over how much stuff they where able to do! I guess that program inspired the whole computer graphics industry

Re: Cool stuff you've found on the web
Yup. The Amiga was the go-to system for computer graphics in the late 80's and early 90's. In fact, the TV series Babylon 5 had all it's special effects done on the Amiga.

Re: Cool stuff you've found on the web
i remember painting a dungeon crawler interface with DPaint (that was ST version, 16 colors), quite close to Ishar's. I never used it at all and lost everything into floppies

Re: Cool stuff you've found on the web
^^ Yeah, I've seen those before. To be honest, the artist should blend the faces in better because the 'popping out' effect that is used just makes it look like an unfinished job. Look at Will Smith: it just looks like it's been pasted on over the top. The only really good one is Frank Zappa.

Re: Cool stuff you've found on the web
Those were interesting. I agree with gambit though, some of the faces just pop out too much, IMO more time needed to be spent in blending them in better, by matching the colour tones of the faces to the rest of the photos and making sure the faces line up better.linflas wrote:Celebrities in uniform, weird but quite good photoshop work : http://society6.com/artist/replaceface

I take it from that comment in the link that breaking down in that area's pretty common.

That's the main point you took away from that story? A common point to break down? It's A TIE FIGHTER!!!
And in a totally unrelated but related story, here's a FULL SCALE 1:1 X-WING made out of Lego!

At the end, the composer proposes people to make their own clip for each decade.
