That's correct.
Suddenly, this hilarious game to my mind that would entertain us for ages back in the 1990s:

Hmm, haven't known any of the latest ones

. My latest is still outstanding. I might put up another image from the same game if no-one recognises that guy.

				Don't recognise Jan's latest one.
Definitely haven't played Ameena's, but in style it reminds me of screenshots i've seen before... maybe even on this forum. Maybe
Dungeon Kingdom
?
Another from mine:

Spiderman vs. Nazi in yellow socks? No, I don't know.

Here's the whole screenshot from my game:

				I recognised
Shinobi
straight away, it came in some boxed set for the ST. As for Sauman's new one, I don't know.
Ameena's I believe is
Spore.
I have never played it but I have seen screenshots, possibly it was discussed in a different thread on this forum.
Jan's I recognise, probably from some ST or Amiga magazines. Was it called
Goblins
? Or something like that?

				Nope, mine's not
Spore
. The graphics on that are more cartoony and there's nothing that looks
that detailed.
One more before I tell you...

Yes indeed, only it was written with three "i"s.

Jan's latest is

 (I hope).

Indeed. The first game, the first screen (and usually the first fall in the water - death - end - restart

  ).

				Ameena's is some
Elder Scrolls
 game, probably not
Skyrim
though I haven't played them so I don't know which one beyond that.
Another from mine:

I think you're right Sophia. Think Ameena loved
Morrowind
. Not sure though.
Yours - no idea - something that has to do with early
Sims?
Here one that was really worth playing it - not really successful on the PC, but I think Atari/Amiga users loved it.

				That's one of the
Phantasie
games, but i'm not 100% on the number. Based on the graphic window, i think it's
Phantasie 3
.
Don't know Sophia's.

				Well done!!!
I was playing it once and loved it, but when the 'oldgames' came alive, I couldn't remember what it was. Took me ages to dig it out again - glad to have found it at all.
There's another one in a similar style. The only thing I remember is, that the first enemies have been Thugs. Any idea?
Here's another one to guess -
the link reveals it...

Hullo, Bit, nice to see you again

! But I don't know the game you presented

  .
A new one from me - one of the toughest places I've ever faces in any computer game:

				Damn, I recognised
Beneath a Steel Sky
but couldn't remember the name - only played it briefly, many years ago

. Anyway, Sophia got the series mine was from and then Bit got the specific game, yay teamwork

.
Now, I don't know
any of the current ones at all. I won't post a new one just yet as we seem to have quite a few on the go as it is...

Bit - Not sure on that. There was a game from the 80s that i never played, but remember having a similar look. Can't remember the full name, but it was called Temple of (name i don't remember).
My screenshots were from
Black Lamp
.
Looks like there are three live ones (I don't know any of them), so i'll do like Ameena and hold my next one until a couple have been answered.

Well, my screenshot comes from the one that was kind of a 'must have' after having finished Masters of Orion - and before MOO2. Very fine interface, wonderful gaming - still, the AI was a bit dumb. When I was searching for a screenshot, I found an article that there is now a patch available that changes this dramatically. Perhaps worth a replay.
To make it clear: that one, and my search for the 'thug'-game are two things. Screenshot is SciFi-Strategy. But maybe we can make it together with all sources allowed to reveal the name of that RPG.
@Ameena: I have
Morrowind
too, but just made it not far out of the first city - at this time my computer was simply too slow. That was no fun. But your screenshots forced me to search for more screenshots, and I'm pretty surprised about the high quality that this game already has. I'm tempted to reinstall it on my newer machine. But then I know me, and how much time it would cost me...
@Jan: That one is some days old, hm? Is that a very first version of
Rogue
 ?
@Saumun: watching older posts in this thread I found one of your pictures which I first thought belong to that game here - but wasn't, so especially for you now:

Bit --- Ah, yes... What a wonderfully original (and strange) game
The Sentinel
was. I only ever played the 8-bit version, so it was very slow. I think i may have a look for the 16-bit version and give it another try, now that i'm reminded of it.
