Saumun - you got Ghostbusters right.
What about my previous one? S-s-s-s-six-six-six-sixty-sixty-six times?

Sorry, Zedd, I'd like to play and guess, but I'm not a native speaker and I don't know many movies in English - so I'm only able to offer my lines from the few movies I know in English but not able to guess other's lines.

Or I would have to cheat and google it, but I don't want to.
The only s-s-s-s-s person that comes to my mind is Gollum but I don't remember this line from any Tolkien's book.

Nope - not Gollum, but nice try.
Here is another one from the same movie - maybe that will help someone

Ok...two more from the same movie and then I'll tell if no one gets it:
Big bear...Big bear chase...

Seems I stumped everyone

They are from The Great Outdoors.

Ah... I haven't seen The Great Outdoors!
On the other... Aaarrgh, i'm sure i remember this quote and can sort of picture it. Is the guy that says it getting killed at the time?
Just cannot think of the movie!

Wizard Zedd wrote:"I've got five kids to feed!"
Sounds like a generic excuse of every second villain close to the end of the movie.

Although the size of the family differs of course, and changes (increases) with the seriousness of the situation.

(Ali Baba:
"I've got forty thieves to feed!")

And what about "The
dog? You are named after the
dog?" - - :frowns: "I have a lot of fun memories of that dog!"
(well, these are actually two lines, but meh

)

I believe that is Indiana Jones.
In addition to "I've got five kids to feed!" another from the same movie "Get your a$$ to Mars"

Ahhh... so this must be Total Recall, am I right? But I don't remember where the five kids fit to it... although the movie is crazy enough, so, yeah... and Arnie's lovely Austrian English....
"we have to lörn how to stay alört"...
EDIT: And, yeah, it's the third Indy (The Last Crusade).
EDIT 2: And what about this: "God would have mercy.
He won't."

Aaaargh... Yes! It is Total Recall.
The guy says it a few times.

Of course the one with the five kids is Total Recall.

Jan: the one with God having mercy is from Rambo 3 I think.

Exactly. And what about this (it's extremely easy though):
"It's a sh*te state of affairs to be in and all the fresh air in the world won't make any f*cking difference!"

Indeed.

Yup, you're right.
How about this: "I'm American, honey. Our names don't mean sh*t."
(and after this one I'm going to plunge myself into deep silence 'cause I don't want to turn this thread into a

Oh, I see, now, we have a genius here.

He's on a roll, ain't he?
Roll this, then:
"Diane, if you ever get up this way, that cherry pie is worth a stop."
(and I'll eat my socks if you do know this one)

Wow...lot's of activity.
You got my Total Recall ones and I don't know the cherry pie quote - but only think you need to eat your socks if Saumun doesn't get it so you are still good
New one: "Rita Miller, that's my name."

Nope... You got me on the cherry pie quote!
Don't know the Rita Miller one either.

I'm afraid I don't know either one as well.
What about this one: "I'm disinclined to acquiesce to your request. Means "no"."

Regarding that pie quote. It's not actually from a movie but from a series, or, more precisely, from a pilot to a series. Let me give you another famous quote from that series: "that gum you like is going to come back in style".

Trantor's is from the first Pirates film - Barbossa addressing Elizabeth. Dont know the others.

Correct Ameena. I have found myself using that phrase more and more often in daily conversations.
